  1. I will be honest, clan work does take a toll a bit on your life if you don't have free time. After having kid, I can only do clan work from 11 PM to 4 AM. Plenty of times, I have done that and I believe that's the routine for me now. Then I crash hard on Sunday night because no energy left. Sometimes I get frustrated as well when things don't work, I can't find solution, with some kids fighting over simple argument, etc.. I ask myself what's the point in spending time on this? But then I still end up trying for it and when it works, oh lord, that happiness spreads around. I believe all clan admins/owners/staff etc go through it and once they get to know it's worth it, they never give up and try their best. Another major reason, =F|A= has survived so long is because of donors and helpers. Both goes side by side. Imagine if you have to pay 5K/year for peoples fun? Every 5 year, I could score new car from it. No one would and that's realistic behavior but then no one minds spending 50-100$ bucks on ticket, fund activities/year. That's why i stress on donations sometimes when I see few players donating more to meet the year goal while everyone should chip in rather then just few. On the other hand =F|A= is lucky enough to have regulars/friends/members/staff who have helped and worked like crazy when required. We all work as a team. When one goes inactive, someone steps up and covers their spot. So the helping side also worked out pretty good. All in all, I have learned a lot from the people. Many have become life long friend.

  2. Nice looking boy, very clever dogs but require lots of exercise and time. Here is a recent (ish) of our Mali Nova ( She is my Daughters dog but lives in my house so is "ours" 😄), she loves playing and is like the fooking Duracell Bunny. keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeps goooing Nova is a Mali x Dutch....Her Mum (Xena) was a Dutch and her Dad (Zeus) was Mali, she is just over 2 years old now. I've started taking her out on my ebike and she runs along, loves it.

  3. My english isn't the best (and you know it ) but i want to say thank you for all that you taught us. And not only in the game/forum but in the relations between players/admins/trools (). You were always there to guide us in our actions. Always there when we need some support irl, we have all high/low moment..... Even after 8 years, your patience always surprise me (how many time you have waste your time with me, like since 2 days xd). You represent the serenity and the a self-abnegation. Big thank you boss for your dedication to FA FAmily will never die..... PS : if you don't understand, post here https://fearless-assassins.com/forum/224-language-learning-translation/

  4. Well worded my friend! Man, I have no idea what I would be doing right now if my Dad never joined this clan. I probably would not be where I am, just to keep it simple. You have provided me with a wonderful experience here, and numerous memorable moments. But I think I can speak for all of us in these terms, as we all appreciate what you guy's do for us. For example, we don't have to have new maps, but yet you add them anyways. We don't have to have new features added for forums, but you add them anyways. You show nothing but pure dedication for making our day's better, even when your's might not. It's been a privilege to do what you allow me to do, and help out with, and I thank you for that. I look forward to keep doing these things, and I feel like this is no where near the end. Trust me, I will be the last person to leave this place. Or let me rephrase that, I'll be here.

  5. People been taking "India" as example of shit covid can do to you. But tbh just after a week of "restrictions lifted" everything is same. Even when today I went to market , I saw so many people without masks . I tried to talk to a guy , who was not wearing mask . He couldn't understand me clearly because of distance and me wearing double mask so he said "dude covid is over" . He wanted me to know I'm stupid for wearing mask . Fkng people are so fkng dumb. and its been in news day and night, "3rd covid wave is evitable in 3-8 weeks. But ppl don't give a fk.

  8. I came from a well respected clan that was one of the oldest around at the time. It eventually fell after the founder had life issues come up. It gave me exposure into what a quality gaming group looked like. Keep in mind we only had an ETpub server and a couple ETpro servers later on. However, what you and the other founders created is something incredible. The number of servers that F|A has continuously ran is unlike anything else. I believe 100% ET would not still be were it currently is without your participation with the silent and other development teams, custom anticheat, consistent server maintenance, admin rules, forums, donors, staff, recruitment, and of course the FA members and regular visitors. F|A in my opinion is a big reason ET is still enjoyed by thousands across the globe. So thank you, it is still my favorite game out there and we are so lucky to have you all running these servers. Sincerely, Geoff

  9. Very heartfelt post. I can completely understand much of what you have said and I have only been with FA for a fraction of the 10 years. When we think of FA there are many of us who constantly call it a FAmily. The reason is that it is %100 percent true. Not only is it a place where we can be ourselves without being judged but it is full of support from everyone. I for one look forward to coming on the forums and Servers daily to reach out to people who I truly miss talking to and sharing with. This kind of support system is essential to keep my sanity sometimes. The point of my rambling is this, Every FAmily needs a leader, a person who can help in ruff times, a person who can see the big picture and whether we like it or not give us the correct guidance. This is you. I made a post when I met you on the server for the first time referring to you as a Legend. You can deny all you want but Anyone who can accomplish what you have deserves the title. Not only did you create this clan but you made strangers friends and friends FAmily. Possibly the best decision you made was giving me the opportunity to join. (Just a joke) All this to say Thank You, not just for what you have done, but what you do and will do.

  10. First off, huge thanks from an ET player for your continous effort to keep the community alive for so long. I realize it requires help from all FA members, but if you left, it would soon die and we all know that. Though I've joined quite recently, I've been watching how the clan has been functioning since its early days, and I can fairly say, there's no such community that has lasted so long in such a great shape, not only regarding ET clans. I've been in several ET clans and all of them had a great atmosphere, I met wonderful friends, spent moments that I'll never forget. But they all died, even though they didn't have to pay 1/10 of expenses FA has to pay. And that's probably what I like the most in FA, it just gives me some kind of sense of security, that it won't just fall apart soon and I'll be lost again (that sounded bad ). So, as long as you exist and keep doing nice stuff that you do, I'll try to support you as long as I can

  12. I know nothing about servers and programming. It was a mind bending task just to find my GUI..D...W thing, whatever. Consequently I'm not much of an admin, and don't want to be. I'm totally broke so I'll likely never contribute anything financially. Frankly, I don't even know why I'm a member - maybe it's because I contribute so much to established FA member's kill scores - or perhaps it's the sheer hilarity of the antics of someone who has played COD4 since it's release but still can't rise above an average ratio of 9-30 that keeps em all laughing. The question pops into my mind daily, "Why am I an FA member?" and the answer from my brain keeps coming back, "Shut up, I'm trying to sleep!" but really it's that there are a few nice folks out there and it feels great to have someone say "Hi Stanky" when I join a game.

I didn't know you could run in e.t for almost a year and I though Adrenaline was a form of poison and stayed away from it for just as long. (many years ago ) Here for the fun which comes by playing and meeting people who share the same feeling. The key word is Community & It's a Gaaaaaame! peace.

  18. The thing we care about the most in the UK is hospitalisation rate so we don't overwhelm the NHS like we did at the start of the pandemic. AZ has like a 90% effectiveness for this which is why it's not the end of the world for our vaccination program. Unfortunately we have absolute morons in charge who've proven time and time again that they don't know what they're doing. Delta arrived because of failure to close the borders from India in time despite all the news reports of what's going on over there before the variant arrived here which has set back our lockdown easing schedule by 4 weeks. I've missed out on a year and a half of my life because of these same mistakes the useless government are making time and time again. Over 40s who had the AZ jab are likely to get booster jabs in autumn and booster jabs were something that have been planned for a long time so that's not really a problem. The cases we're seeing increase in the UK are primarily from under 30s who have low risk of hospitalisation and extremely lower risk of death. I have no doubt that our government is going to f*** things up again and we'll be in lockdown once more in winter. All the groups most vulnerable to the virus are fully vaccinated. We should have been out of lockdown once that happened. It's not pleasant to think about but deaths are just a part of life, there is a point where we have to say that people dying to this virus are now around the same as the amount that die to the flu every year and allow people - the same people who sacrificed some of the best years of their life - to get on with actually living and not being stuck in limbo.

  19. I totally feel you. I always get very annoyed when I see people ignoring corona measures. I don't understand why people don't take them seriously. It's not just annoying but also really egocentric. I've been struggling with the whole situation as well. Mentally have experienced some downs. I still need to finish my study, but can't find any motivation to do it. I just have that empty feeling. I read an very interesting article about this feeling, you should check it out. Everybody should remember: you are not alone in this. Many people did struggle, or are still struggling with some mental health issues due to the pandemic. During these times of isolation it's difficult to look out for each other.. but talking to others about how you feel, is the best thing to do. I'm glad that it's getting better in my country (the Netherlands). From next week, the old normal is almost back after 1.5 years. This Monday I get my first vaccine shot, and I'm really excited about it. Can't wait for everything to be normal again, and hopefully I'll get back to feeling normal again as well. Keep ur head up mate. If you ever want to talk about something, feel free to reach out to me. Again; we're not in this alone ❤

  29. Damn, it has been 10 years already. That's indeed a very long time. To hold a community together of this size and shape, you need one hell of a leader(s) and also the supporting pillars. I remember seeing you on dow for some time.. and poof F|A was born into existence a few weeks later. From there on and now has been a trip down the memory lane, good times were had. I'm proud to be a part of this community. If you ever want to grab a drink or 2 sometimes, hit me up man.

  36. Ahw, your grandpa reminds me a bit of my grandpa. He never jelled at me, tickled me, played with me, we puzzled together and he often took me to the forest to go for a walk and teached me things about plants, trees and birds and he once made me a whistle out of a twig / branch for me. Whatever I do, he's always proud of me... I'm sorry to hear that yours passed away... :c. But seriously, I really like the fact that you kept the name. Shows what a great bond you've had with your grandpa. :3

I feel envious and a bit disappointed in myself, because I hate so much for so little, and then see this kind of shit you've been through and you are still rockin' it. Always so positive and chipper, even when people kick you in the nuts. Hopefully I'll have that sort of outlook. Sooner or later. Keep kickin' ass, man. Don't go down without a fight. We'll all be rootin' for ya!

  39. I think a very large reason for the breakdown in civility on the inter webs is a many part problem, We have a generation that has spent more time online " talking" to people than face to face, by online I mean any text or video based communications. IRL there is a certain degree of decorum required when discussion " those" topics, You can't be a complete and total ass hat to someones face without risking a broken nose or black eye, or worse. The net has allowed people from vastly different social/political forms to interact without having to understand each others position first and therefore anger/passion shows up when you feel attacked. People need to realize that on the internet, nothing is temporary and it is extremely hard to convey sarcasm and humor. Even the use of LOL and other emotive text, just because you think something is funny doesn't mean you're not being an ass. I could be completely off with this and maybe everyone has just really became assholes IRL, But I have to believe its just an act to make themselves feel good at someone else's expense or you are right Jopa, we are screwed.

  41. Oh, I find myself totally banned from here and any other COD4 server. Yes siree bob. Speed will only put up with my crap for so long you know. Then it's adios, old man. I don't see myself ever being any more than a 16 on here. I don't have any skills to add to this band of merry men, that warrant going higher. I don't want to get into server or site maintenance again. My time is different now. When I want to go do something...I am gone. Sometimes I get a hankering for the hills of Kentucky, and playing me some music. The young guys today that join here and play COD4 with us are quite different than they were 8 years ago, even 4 years ago. Sometimes I don't even know what they are talking about. But it has been that way since Adam and Eve. If they had access to an iphone then, maybe the boys would have gotten along better. Or, maybe they would have killed their mom and dad and destroyed the Earth. Who knows. I will gently fade away from here over time and some of you will say some day; "Where's Smoke at lately? Haven't seen him in awhile" Then I will be only a memory.

  46. Every other first world nation has some sort of single payer health care system/social medicine. The rest of the world just assumes that Americans don't care they're letting themselves get ripped off by private sector health care. Americans would have paid less if social medicine was introduced when every other nation was releasing their variation of it. The constitution is not infallible, infact its out of date... point number 2 is a good point but everything else is riddled with fallacies and rhetorical nonsense. While it would be a good idea for America to lessen it presence in Afghanistan, leaveing would only expidite a resurgance of a Taliban lead government. Osama Bin Laden wasnt confirmed dead in 2001 btw he was rumored to be dead, but when one of the most powerful nations invades the country you live in, doesn't it make sense that he was roumored to be dead? But you're right, Americans are giving up all their rights under the guise of security. Nobody is to blame other than American people and corporations though. Every person has a vote and every corporation can donate UNLIMITED FUNDS to any candidate or party they choose (the big issue, or at least it should be)... The west is about to fall on its knees prey to the giant we call china, and it's about time... The military industrial complex has bankrupted the USA of all their money, dignity and trust. It's to late man.... P.S. Obama is from Hawaii and Bush is from Texas.... Why would Obama vacation on a ranch in Texas? xD
