Been drinking coffee longer than ive been playing ET and consistently find myself being slightly distracted while playing a few maps making sure I don't knock over my mug of black coffee all over my keyboard. Over the last few years, I started venturing out to try different types of coffee rather than the classic Maxwell House or Folgers - and have also become quite a snob when it comes to a good espresso 😂 A few weeks ago, I decided to go one step further and start roasting my own coffee as a hobby (even though a friend of mine wants me to start it as a business lol). I bought a roaster, scale, grinder, and multiple bags of raw (green) coffee beans to get the hang of it. I set off all the smoke alarms in my place the first go, didnt get the heat high enough the 2nd batch (took an hour while it was suppose to take 20ish minutes lol), 3rd batch was getting there, and 4th batch I found out you can put too many beans in the roaster and scorch the hell out of the bottom beans! All said and done - enjoying the process and learning a lot as I go -- below are a few pics of the beans and I will see how long it takes me to get something im proud of! That s nice @mraw435 , i bet you ll have a few batch of soso coffee until you hit the right spot hahah. But your own roast will be great. i also love a good coffee, i ve tried some from about everywhere (at least thoses i can find) . My only probleme is that i use a regular filter coffee machine.. i d like to purchase a real espreso machine but just can t get my self to pay 1200$ for one coffee per day 😅
