I use this opportunity to greet the whole community, about 2 years I started playing on F | A servers I have accomed on Jay1 759000xp and on Jay3 851000xp they were 2 years full of strong emotions, and I have combined many, from fighting to reconcile, I was not very understood, perhaps for my mother language, but despite my rejection as admin, I remain loyal to this wonderful community. I will never ask to try again to enter because I do not approve, certain methods and rules, and I hate certain licked and mafia behavior. That said, it does not mean that I do not have love for this Community, I want to conclude with a capital letter THANKS: Fearless Assassins for these 2 years

Hey all. I'm new to the forums,played W:ET back in 05 but quit when Vista couldn't play. Is there a section in the forums for newbies? I've been playing on the beginners server for a while now my xp is awful and I'm wondering how you get to the crazy xp numbers I see. OBS is rather good for streaming, but it is as you have stated, it just seems to be your CPU bottle-necking. A friend of mine has the FX-8350, as well as an Elgato, so I'll ask him to run a test stream if he's up for it. Shall be relaying the output to you once available

True that. Quantity is a THING nowadays. Things getting old and they're meant to be replaced not fixed. Sour fruits of consumer society. Had 1989 w201 Mercedes - 600 000 km without any problem but rust. And then I had (still have in bad shape) w210 1996 - 2.9 engine can run to 1 million and up but the chassis is gone. With 300 000 km only. If I removed some interior details I found that they didn't bother to paint the inner body at all. Only some paint dust in some places. Poor rust protection also in body. And w210 was the one they ASKED for quality. And not to mention some (yes, some) Land Rovers or Ford Rangers these days with oilpumps made of chocolate. I can continue with that list forever.

Sounds cool. Do you have a servercfg that would work with Jaymod? And a general idea of how you would adjust the ruleset to fit Jaymod or adjust Jaymod to fit the ruleset (I'm thinking about doublejump, spawntime intervals, maps, weapon restrictions, etc etc)

first I do not do a high quality streaming, because my computer is very old, I use the Enemy Territory resolution of 1024x768 to 75 Hz, I have an HDMI video card and HDMI monitor xdsl 140MB / 20MB in the settings, use profile details medium and zero latency, 30 fps monitor's HDMI audio enabled all the details of the game at most, but with low resolution, trlinear disabled use Twitch automatic server

Thanks for the reply @w1cx. Unfortuantely, I don't have another computer to stream to, but I have heard of folks doing a HDMI loopback using a HDMI cable connected from the output of the GPU to the input of the Elgato. Seems anecdotal though, since this doesn't appear to be a best practice. My rig is definitely wired with Ethernet so no worries there. I think the performance bottleneck is my CPU at this point, which I will be upgrading shortly. The 1060 6 GB I have now seems solid enough to handle most anything I throw at it, and with some light research I've done via UserBenchmark, the FX-8350 seems to be a lot better than the FX-6100 I have now. (If you're wondering why I don't just upgrade to a TR or Core I-series processor, it's simple economics. For me to upgrade the proc would require a new mobo, which in turn requires new RAM, which is the most cost-prohibitive thing for me right now. Using Streamlabs OBS for streaming and it's working pretty well. Love the interface and tight integration with the rest of Streamlabs content/overlays.

Punkbuster prevents, that dishonest players from gaining an unfair advantage. Are there any ways to outsmart PunkBuster? If a player kills quickly (like amibot), or run very faster than all other players, then it is unfair to all other players! On different servers, like NOQ1, NOQ2 or NOQ3 are 2 to 4 players, which in contrast to all other players run much faster (almost flying), therefore have a big advantage. That`s not fair! The other team, or the other players have no chance and go to another server, where fair playing is. It is said that it would be only the double jump, but most know the double jump, as some players have been playing for over 10 years, but this technique is new and unfair. Fair would be if every player has the opportunity to run so fast, then all run at the same speed. A year ago you could not see any player on F|A who could run so fast. who has had the same experiences? and who is the same opinion? because for me is this unfair run behavior: is scam.
