Hello people of FA. Some might know me as HairyFairy,some as fr33km8 and some as YaKuZaH. Started ET 2004. Started as hardcore ET junkie.Nowdays im super casual and mostly just kill time with ET. Even tho Im old,slow and lack the time..Im super happy to see there is still active ET communities like this..I have been enjoing my time on FA legacy servers cause they somewhat remind me etpro compared to other more populated servers.. also people on FA servers seem polite and mature. Cheers to all who I have shared my time on FA servers !!

Well trick jumping to complete objective is forbidden as stated in the rules and said by You but if You do it without going for objective its okay I think. The second situation it depends on how You get there ( I have no idea how You can just jump on the minas church roof) but map exploiting is prohibited in every shape or fashion as stated in #21 server rule so it would depend on the situation, by that I mean how You got there.

@RedBaird @yaku @floki We have a 5 minute no rush rule on this server. Do not touch the final objective within the first 5 minutes. Once 5 minutes have passed from the start of the map you can carry out the final objective. Trick-jumping (jump over walls, etc...) is NOT allowed to complete the objective. Trick-planting (places you can plant dyno where it's hard to defuse using single or double jump) is not allowed at any given time. Helped Rendel on discord, turn out his game was missing in the sound mixer. Solution was to open the client and go options -> systems and look what the sound system is. It was custom, needed to switch it to SDL2 or OpenAL. Fix can be done in config too. Just switch "s_initsound" to "s_initsound 1" and it should fix the problem

yeah,nothing personal ,didnt mention any names ,you are good guy . i took it up cause i heard today about Minas last stage church roof isnt allowed ,then got bit confused ,regular double jump to roof .... take tour,plant mines ,arty flag spawn ,take attetion from axis to folo me ,to have little bit chance to get flag ,as you know most time 27vs27 oasis first stage isnt kinda eazy for allies , and there isnt lot people who can reach even over the wall at this point

I doubt you even have to apply, mate 😄 just come back 😄 This is grey area rule. I personally allow people to jump over the wall to plant mines or throw arty from there as long as they don't touch the objective (CP or both guns) but I also know some admins doesn't allow that and I think both ways are correct. It really depends how many players you have on server, who is on server etc. For example I know you or @Bunny will jump over the wall and not even come close to objective but also if I would see troublemakers and rushers on server I would ask you both not to, just to avoid not necessary drama with them and questions 'why he can and I can't' etc. and any discussion with them is really pointless.

hi john - thanks for bringing this question up! I am one of the admins that reached out to ya in the past about not jumping over the wall gonna have a discussion about this with all the other admins to ensure we are on the same page moving forward - will follow up soon!

pretty sure your allowed to go were ever you like as long as your not rushing a map but must map rush rules only go for jaymod and NQ servers not our sil server even tho it's not looked at in a very kind light not 100% on all nq servers i don't play them ping to high for must of our servers

Hate to burst anyone's bubble but this topic has been brought up 100 times and it's always the same dare is very adamant about bots he will not change bot count nor remove them also no commands will be given to add/ remove bots seem usless to most but they have proven to help populate servers and keep player counts up we are not willing to chance loosing people by messing with the bots and trust me we have tested this theory by removing and lowering counts and the ser er went quite dead so with that said I would not get any hopes up on changes in that area
