What’s up all my name is Gil, tag name is Willin2reck and I am from Miami FL. I used to play ET about 10-15 years ago back in the Evil servers, along with TulsaGeoff and many many others. I got married and had a family, and just did life for a while. My son is now 9 years and old and he wanted his first gaming computer. that immediately made me think about ET, and I wanted to see if some of the communities and servers were still up. So I re downloaded it and that’s how I ended up here. So basically I took over my son’s gaming computer to start playing ET again. LOL! but anyway, glad to be part of this community.

Server crashes on many maps where u are pushing 40+ players... I wish maps would follow your wish list as well in support from ET Engine. Life would be wonderland, especially I agree on few maps.. Sadly the reality is different. hello stoner 💚 im sure ure familiar with GTKRadiant, nowadays mappers use NetRadiant which is basically same as old one but with more improvements. me personally i use nrc (net radiant costum) most useful tutorial so far (in my opinion) you can find it here i will be glad to help with any question, although im not a pro mapper yet 😛 good luck and happy mapping

Since 2005. With a lot of breaks like others have said. After my other clan dismantled sometime into the 2010’s I found my way back into ET around 2020 through FA thankfully.

i started playing rtcw first at my cousins's, then i tried installing it on my pc but by accident i downloaded ET in early 2005. played for long time till 2012 maybe, hosted servers, mappings, configs and many more, i had to ragequit ET due to hackers invasion and ruining the fun especially for ETPro. and now im back in 2023 , somehow addicted more than before , most importantly my parents dont tell me anymore to get up from pc so i can play as much as i can xD feel old yet?

Do you have cl_allowDownload 1? If this happens after you have voted for the next map, which you dont have in etmain, this may solve the problem If not, try change com_hunkmegs , 256 should be enough.

Is breakout really in the rotation? I do not think i saw it in map voting lately. But anyway for my propositions on changes: OUT: breakout2_140.pk3 et_ice.pk3 deadcold_b1.pk3 IN: just my propositions. I do not like Oasis at all either but it is voted pretty often by regulars so i do not know if removing it is a good choice

So I have been meaning to post this for a while now lol kept forgetting. The server is being hosted through a company I have discounts for since I use to work for them which is why I am able to accommodate the HLL server so easily. Typically the server is $36-45 / month depending on services and additions. My payments are $23. So it’s nothing. I am by no means asking ! However! If you insist on helping towards the server cost it is still appreciated. I would even take any extra funds and donate them directly to here on FA anyhow. My father taught me. I used to sit next to him in the weekends when he was playing. And I think it was somewhere in 2006 when I started playing myself together with my brother. I took a big break in 2015 and started playing actively again in 2020. sometimes I see people again who I’ve been playing with in the beginning years , and that is what I love the most about this game ; the people.

It served as the inspiration for Wolfenstein 3D. Amazing game for its time and considered a pioneer in stealth gaming. I have been playing Enemy Territory since its launch in 2003. was fun but after some maps couldnt play anymore duo some file missing try to connect download the missing file but stop at 97% and rebbot again i try a few times but always the same so i quit
