Hey all,... thanks to Krauersaut, I was motivated to write once more today. And I want to thank him and just so you know. I will repent for my sins and you may slap me if I don't. I hope to be able to write and publish on a daily basis from now on. By the way, while I am at it, I also would like to thank Scream, Yellow Flash, Madara, JayC, QuoVadis, Mango and GI-JOE for the time and work they have recently been putting into the new CS:GO section. They practically build it up from scratch and I r
Sports. Be it electronic sports, such as computer games, mental sports such as chess or physical sports. They all exert a sort of attraction on people and sometimes it can be hard to defy them. I feel this way. My body urges me to go to the limit and I can't help it. My favourite sport is cycling. Outdoor cycling. Since I live in an area with where there are a lot of slopes and hills, I use either my mountainbike or my treckingbike. I take my bike out for a ride two or three times a week. Unless
I intended to write about my awesome supercool hobby. However, I spontaneously came up with the strange idea to change my user name on forums and servers. I really don't know why though... I just... came?! Perhaps it is the fault of someone I met on Jay 1 the other day. Don't remember his name, but what I do remember is the fact that he asked me why I was still having christmas colors in my name. That's it I thought. A little change won't hurt.
My new name is gonna be: =F|A=Thistle

Today, I just want to clarify what I meant by conflicts in my first blog entry. I wrote that conflicts arise when different cultures meet and it was perhaps the wrong way to put it. This is exactly what I meant though. Misunderstandings arise. Sometimes it is due to the written word, which does not always convey feelings such as irony, sarcasm, humor, etc. Therefore, people simply might misunderstand what someone else wrote. Irony might be taken serious and thus cause damage. Unfortunately, thes
At first I was hesitant whether or not I should open a blog of my own. You can guess by now that I decided in favour of a blog. However, in a first try I opened a testblog going by the name of "sssssss" - unfortunately I did not find the option to delete it. It will therefore remain as a ghostblog. RIP. On my second try I figured out the available options as good as I could and I started this blog with an introductory post (the post you're actually reading as a matter of fact). I will try to pos

Let's writeup a rather...interesting journey I was doing last weekend. Some of you (the people who this is directed to) may have heard of it as the infamous "F|A IRL meeting" . You might have stumbled upon a blog of a certain fintard about the very same topic. So this is basically the same but from another point of view (from a co-leader and archangel that is), without those nasty spelling and grammar mistakes and overall in a better English, hehe.
Alright, let's get this started. My very fi

Number 10 of the interview series. Co-Leader Pepperonipizza tells us about him, his life, his thoughts and his future. Quite an interesting one, absolutely worth the (long) read. Thanks to GI-JOE, Krayzie and Corey for their superb questions.
Could you quickly introduce yourself?
My name is Joachim. I'm from Belgium and currently studying in Leuven. I am a last year Master's student studying computing science. I like playing W:ET and Dota2. I like traveling with my girlfriend.

Here is the ninth interview, perhaps not as long as yesterday's, but still quite a good read. This one features our member docwarren, an interesting and more profound person than one would imagine when he is on a killing spree on our servers. Thanks to Krayzie and GI-JOE for their questions this time. Still no adjective I can think of.
Could you quickly introduce yourself?
My real name is Brook. Yes I'm a guy. Ever hear the Johnny Cash song " A boy Named Sue"? I am 41 with a wife &
And interview number 8. This is by far the longest one about the likable person with the beard we all love - Corey. Thanks to Krayzie, Wizbang, GI-JOE, Raziel, mew, Moron4 and Alexandra for their questions. I can't think of an appropriate adjective this time.
Could you quickly introduce yourself?
My name is Corey. I am 22 years old and live in Alabama. I attend a small university and hope to have my bachelors degree in computer information systems by next spring. I love watching movie
The 7th interview will be about our Co-Leader Stabak. Like Thundercvnt, he is a man of little words, which doesn't make him uninteresting though, quite the contrary. Read it to find out more about his views on life, the universe and everything. Thanks to Alexandra, Maximo Decimo and darkfag77 for some interesting questions. I am slowly running out of questions for my interview partners. If you have any suggestions or a specific person you'd like to see interviewed, feel free to contact me.
Only a day after the fifth interview, you will be able to learn a bit about your favorite Co-Leader Gubbi, a kind of intelligent, pleasant and sweet-tempered person. Thanks to CSL, stabak, GI-JOE, Joker and Alexandra for their valuable questions this time.
Could you quickly introduce yourself?
My name is Stefan, I just turned 24 last month and I am from Austria. I just finished my Master of Science studies in Microelectronics and I will start with my PhD in September. In my spare time
Roughly half a year after the last one and more than a year after the first one, you are going to read the fifth interview in this series. This time about our Co-Leader Raziel, a more or less interesting person. Read it to find out why. Thanks to darkfag77, Marar4, and RoosterCogburn for their... inspiring questions.
Could you quickly introduce yourself?
My name is Marcel-René. I am a 19 year old student from Germany who has just finished school. I spend my time playing ET and Poker m
I was kind of bored this weekend away from home by myself on a business trip, so I decided to go down memory lane and get in touch with some of the movies and TV shows I grew up with. Let me say that watching some of these shows and movies 30 years later proves to me that todays family entertainment is on a much lower level than it used to be. Here are some of the flix and shows I watched this weekend. Its amazing how many full movies and shows are on Youtube these days. Growing up idolizing big
Since everyone writes such kind of stories in here, I thought I also may able to add one of these. How did I get into this clan, what happened throughout the last 2 and a half years, what are my thoughts of the clan nowadays and so on. (I guess I get sentimental since i'm finished with school and am at a turning point in my life (heading for a university, that is) , so I want to share some nostalgic and dear moments of me being in this clan. Maybe it even helps to encourage new trials when they

Well its been almost a year since my last blog post (wanted to give time for some to learn to read english before I continued )
Its also been about 2 years since I got accepted as a trial to FA. The past 2 years have been a real roller coaster ride. I packed up my family and moved across the globe (from New York to Israel) Started a new job in a different language and came to the cross road that all gamers come to. What to do when you have very little time to play. In the old days I played fr
