  1. 1. Reset players stats K/D every 1st of each month

    • Yes - I would love that - It would give me challenge to work on K/D each month.
    • No - WTF you smoking DD
    • I could care less about K/D

Vote and/or Discuss. We can do this for silent mod servers for now.

I think this would be really good to reset the K/D ratio each month..... Unless it affects the track base stats or something

hmhhhhh, pretty difficult I'd say. The problem k/d brings in general is that people start playing for it, so how would this suggestion relate to that? I think it could go either way, On one hand the fact that your k/d will reset anyways might hold off some players from k/d whoring, on the other hand your k/d fluctuates the most in the beginning so people are extra careful in that period, if that period repeats every month then it might bring a not wanted result.

All in all I'd say let's just give it a go and see how the people respond, change is always better than no change

could be interesting.

But, what about howafair and shuffle? Will it work when bots online? I bet someone will camp the bots and skyrocket their KD. Then when we do a howfair/shuffle, it will make teams uneven.

would actually like to know something about this. I have played on multiple silentmod servers, on silent1 f.e. most people are around 1,5-2kr, on hardcore more around 2,5-3kr and on one of my former clans' server most people had close to 4. So it appears like their are some adjustable variables? If thats the case then is it possible to turn off gaining or loosing kr when you interact with a bot (killing or getting killed)?

If we do this, i'd recommend doing it on Hardcore first since its something that is suited better there. If people are a fan of it then implement it on silent1?

Yeah id say give it a test, if it goes down well on HC sever then implement it, i think keeping KR per monthly is better seeing as some people will just horde the bots while the servers are dead and its not there actually KDR, seeing as I've played versus people with higher KDR then me and i beat them

Imo on B#2, the reset would actually be a good thing, considering shuffle and could even up the huge difference there is with k/d. Some have 20ish, but most have 5-10.

I actually think this would do more harm than good.. In terms of popularity of the server.. People vein about it for whatever reason, and I think everyone would get butthurt!

A reset may be a good idea but i dont see why it would be monthly?

What's your suggestion? Why not monthly?
