Chuuu Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 I don't know who invented it, but in my country it would be a little stupid. I have been working in the kitchen for 3 years, I am the chef at the moment, writed 4-5 menus and was at the opening of a hotel and nowhere as far as our dishes and specialties are concerned you didnt and cant find it mixing salty and sweet. In my country and culinary rules, every kitchen should have a team for salty dishes and a sweet part that includes both fruit and cakes, and pizza master, so that everyone has their part in the kitchen to prepare and throw out dishes, no one mixes in between because concentration and teamwork is gone unless the chef sees that something is not right in a team and stops all parts of the kitchen. That is, I want to say that in my country a lot of food is eaten from the grill and skewers, fresh and quality meat, not hamburgers and that fast food and especially that it is mixed salty and sweet food.. 🤦♂️ God bless old French culinary😢 1 Quote
Nancy Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 Hawaiian Pizza with Pineapples! Prep Time: 2 hours, 15 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes Total Time: 2 hours, 30 minutes Yield: 1 12-inch pizza Ingredients 1/2 homemade pizza crust 1/2 cup (127g) pizza sauce (homemade or store-bought) 1 and 1/2 cups (6oz or 168g) shredded mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup (75g) cooked ham or Canadian bacon, sliced or chopped 1/2 cup (82g) pineapple chunks (canned or fresh) 3 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled Instructions Prepare pizza dough through step 5, including preheating the oven to 475°F (246°C). Cover the shaped dough lightly with plastic wrap and allow it to rest as the oven preheats. To prevent the pizza toppings from making your pizza crust soggy, brush the shaped dough lightly with olive oil. Using your fingers, push dents into the surface of the dough to prevent bubbling. Top the dough evenly with pizza sauce, then add the cheese, ham, pineapple, and bacon. Bake pizza for 12-15 minutes. Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil, if desired. Slice hot pizza and serve immediately. Cover leftover pizza tightly and store in the refrigerator. Reheat as you prefer. Baked pizza slices can be frozen up to 3 months. 1 3 Quote
Bells Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 It used to be my favourite 😄 I also tried the one with banana and when in Italy the real sweet one with ricotta, nutella and pistacchio, but it was too much even for me. 1 1 1 Quote
