Seems like the game was unable to correctly download the map pack. I had the problem, but several other regulars also reported it (Ellen, CumQuat). The downloading pack message was: redirect.dediserverhosting.com/etmain/fa_oasis_b2.pk3 I've already played the map on Silent1, so I went to check the files I had for this map (see below). @K3rmit any idea on what was the problem? 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

PHNTM Posted June 1, 2020 Share Posted June 1, 2020 (edited) Playing FA oasis today and I felt like it was too hard to allies. Axis spawn is too close to objective with current spawn times. With such a short spawn time allies need to kill the axis team 3 times over before getting the objective done. Seems to me like the map now requires axis to stay in the base a lot more - because it's easier to invade by allies. This makes the areas between allies' spawn and axis base pretty much useless. Axis simply have no time to defend the rear tunnel or the two storey building between spawns because allies are pouring in constantly in the base. I believe this is version b2, I don't know what the revisions were for b3 but maybe these adress some of these issues?
