  1. Welcome back!!
  2. Have an Arctic 420 AIO. Previous one was a NZXT and still going in my previous case which was over 7 years ago. I never had a water cooler leak (knock on desk) and been doing water since 06 or so. They are just so inexpensive compared to custom loops that it makes it hard to justify anything else. I'd recommend the Arctic ones for price/performance and they don't require that bloated NZXT software. When it dies, most likely scenario is that the pump stops working and your temps go up then you go again
  3. @Masa_1964 also has rebuilt some mice. I'd give him an ask too.
  4. LMAO came here to say the game is pretty rad haha. It's like a better BF1 without all the shits in the sky, juggernauts and sky ships. There's a ton to learn, but the infantry controls are easy so barrier to start is fairly low. Unlike something like Escape from Tarkov where each gun has 10 kinds of ammo and 100+ attachments (I have 3400 hours and still don't know all the tarkov maps and keys :|), not to mention losing all your shit and taking 15 minutes to get rekitted and loaded back in.
  5. Just bought it at instant-gaming for $30 for the ultimate. The Steam price is good but might as well get some extra skins for the same price. @Shoresy Adding you on Steam for the protutorial after I get the basics
  6. NP! Found that response from someone else's ask on here about d1m's config. I've seen other use it as well. I don't use it nor did I know until you asked lol. I do have a Wooting KB arriving tomorrow and some Valve games ban the functionality.
  7. When you press left and then right, you stop until you've released the left button. Same goes for back and forward and vice versa. This script cancels the null movement and you change directions immediately. Some keyboards like RAZR and Wooting have this built into the software as Snap Tap or SOCD.
  8. Agree with others. There's some capable 4060 gtx machines for less than $700 which will play just about anything with lower settings. I don't know if the eBay auctions or new egg ships to Europe but check slickdeals.net for some prebuilt deals (search desktop). https://slickdeals.net/f/17890422-ibuypower-scale-gaming-desktop-pc-intel-core-i5-14400f-nvidia-geforce-rtx-4060-8gb-16gb-ddr5-ram-1tb-nvme-699-99-best-buy?src=category_page https://slickdeals.net/f/17875401-yeyian-yumi-gaming-pc-i5-12400f-rtx-4060-1tb-ssd-16gb-ddr4-w-zip-624-99?src=category_page https://slickdeals.net/f/17855904-hp-pavilion-desktop-cert-refurb-ryzen-7-5700g-16gb-ddr4-256gb-ssd-367?src=category_page Cheap at $367 but with no video card. However, the integrated graphics would be leaps better and you could likely put in a video card later if needed.
  9. Also sick of my AK Racing "gaming" chair and have been lurking on SlickDeals.net for a good replacement. I feel like this is the source of a good amount of back pain. For ~$100 I constantly see the Staples Hyken and Dexley (bigger version of chair) on sale are probably the best office chair on the low end price point. ~$700+ Its going to be the Herman Millers and Steel Cases. If I was paying my own money, I'd try the one of those Staples chairs to see if they work. If they don't, take it back assuming you are in the US and have one locally. My work will buy me one for work from home days, but I need something in between. (Damn not taking a chair when covid first hit :() https://www.staples.com/union-scale-flexfit-hyken-ergonomic-mesh-swivel-task-chair-black-un59460/product_990119?cid=ps:gs:dot:nb:pmax:furn&gad_source=5 https://slickdeals.net/newsearch.php?q=office+chair&searcharea=deals&searchin=first&isUserSearch=1&searchtype=autocomplete (Some other options and you can see the expired prices of previous deals).

ET Server Suggestion Silent 1 maps

I'd throw out exhumed_finalfix2 (Easy to understand smaller map) and maybe password? Ice could be another. Will refrain from recommending MLB Temple and Daybreak even though thats what I really want to play but I don't think the server majority does. If you could adjust baserace game time to 20minutes and/or load a different version of baserace with obj's in the middle (I think theres a snow version with this), it would be more obj focused and less an all out fragging contest for 30min. The F|A Oasis could also benefit from a 20 minute time if it's easy to adjust. Thirty minutes feels really long and really unnecessary with the pushed up spawns and its not fun for allies to get rolled with no progress for 20 minutes.
  11. Welcome!
  12. I'd recommend a wireless 60% keyboard without ten key to save space. Something like https://www.amazon.com/Keychron-Bluetooth-Mechanical-Rechargeable-Compatible/dp/B07ZT412V5?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&smid=A19P1OE43Y3F5A&th=1 or a Wooting 60 if you want to spend more for a corded keyboard. The discrete video on the Mini Forum HX100G is a good thing. The thing I don't like about that PC is its a relatively small hardware brand that also have proprietary equipment. So if you want to upgrade your GPU, you are most likely stuck. It's maybe easier to work on that a laptop if you every have to, but you can't just go buy a new PSU or other off the shelf equipment. Should run ET very well though and do decent on newer games at 1080. 1440p may be a stretch for some based on the card. There are other ITX or similar prebuilt small form factor options available, but I have a feeling many companies are going to be proud of these niche options. I am also not a fan of AMD GPU's. Their current processors cook, especially the X3D variants but I couldn't get a flagship Sapphire Nitro 7900 XTX to run without crashing after messing with everything possible including undervolting and installing various configurations of their drivers. It was much cheaper than 4080/4090 at the time, but ended up keeping my older 3070 and no issues anymore.
  13. Hey Zylod, seen your name for many many years. Glad to have you!
  14. These old comed mixes are bangers.
  15. Congrats to all that have kept the ship sailing. Seems like only a short while ago Joe Dirt was mortaring us mortals in spawn on GRush. I was looking at some old files on a storage drive and found a relic of the F|A launcher from April 2009. 👴
