Greatest piece of advice to somebody who does smoke?

Stop as soon as possible^^ (ultimately your choice)

I quit now going on 7 yrs and i don't miss it. I know it is a struggle but just keep with it and you will quit.

Hi All, I've been away for a while now, but dropped back in for an annual reply to this quit smoking thread. Tomorrow will mark 5 years since I started this. I am proud to say I still have not smoked. 5 years! I think I have it beat.

Big Respect to you for this

I want to stop, too.

But it is as it is you always say:"ah cmon quit at the end of the year" etc and such things again and again.

If you can do 5 months you can do 5 years. You're already past the hard part.

Then there is ppl who quit and start again. I have done that now 2 times, each time I quit, it lasted for 3 years... now I smoke more than ever before, tried to quit again, but it is not easy anymore. Gotta keep on trying I quess!

But good for you and to all who got rid of the shit, just do not "try how it still tastes"

I'm about 9 months in smoke free! I smoked for almost 15years.

The best part is I can breathe better, food tastes better, and I'm saving lots of $$$. Only problem is I still crave a smoke and even considered chew tobacco (yuck!, I know) to help but I'm still holding strong. Good thing ET is here to help. Plus the weather out here in Arizona is currently 110*F! Too damn hot to be outside and smoking :D

Kudos to all those who are holding strong and not giving in as well! Keep fighting!
