Getting tired of seeing 50+ notifications and emails from people you follow replying/reacting to different posts? With our new forums, "Friends" have been replaced with "Followers", and with that comes (endless) notifications. It's easy to fix though- here's how to change your settings so you can follow to your heart's content without getting spammed: Go to your Account Settings Choose "Notification Settings" under the "Other Settings" sidebar Scroll down and choose the settings you prefer for "Someone I'm following makes a post/status update/etc" Also note that you can turn off browser notifications, change email settings to daily/weekly digests, change direct mention settings, etc. To reduce email spam, follower settings that would give most notifications are marked with a blue arrow. Once you're done, click "Save" at the very bottom of the page.

Hi! I've recently started to play at Recruiting and NOQ1 servers and i would like to share my thoughts abot something, maybe the FS crew could make a little debate and decide about it. I know there are many players, each one with their own playing style, and else. I am sure many players dont even look at the main chat, and they'll even disable it. Hehe In my case, i also enjoy participating on the conversations, jokes, comments, etc... And i like to be informed about my teammates requests for ammo, medic, covering fire, etc... Why i am talking about all these things? Calm, here i go... During a map's gameplay, I've found the server information messages on main chat a bit spammy and annoying, because i have the impression that they are repeated too much. Sometimes the main chat becomes a messy pile of colors and sounds, and the server info messages just contribute on that mess. I supose the frequency these messages appear would be more comfortable for the players if it is set a bit longer, if you know what i mean. Make them not appearing so many times in a single map. I supose it doesnt depend on the map, but in the time the server is running, i dont know. This is just a thought i wanted to share with you all. And this is why i post this topic. Maybe anyone else has my same thoughts, or opposite. What do you guys think about this? Greetz, AcK -
Well well well.... This thread was bound to pop up sooner or later with the amount of Spam occurring on Discord. Partly my fault but its mostly for laughs. Annnnnyyywayyyyyy! If you have any funny screenshots from Discord, Post them here for all of us to see. I am hoping that more people will be inclined to join us on Discord once they witness the kind of mischief and nonsense we get up too! Its a load of fun! I've gotten the urge to play War Thunder lately, and decided to fire the game up today. Damn, I suck now... especially compared to when I quit, I'd usually get in the top three players Mk I-IV. To all community, clan, and server members alike, I'd like to remind you about how to handle and/or respond to spambots and their topics. We have been getting 1-3 spam topics per day lately- most of which advertise some beauty product, supplement, vitamin, exercise equipment, d*ck enlargement pill... etc. It is very important that you do not click on any links in those posts. It is also important that you do not respond, or reply to any topic created by said spam bot. The bit about clicking on the links should be obvious. Besides phishing attempts, stolen identities, and malware, visiting these sites actually helps to pay for them. The crooks generate ad and traffic revenue this way. But why shouldn't you even reply? There have been instances where replying to a spam topic has enabled these folks to gain access to your email address. With that, they can look for public contacts, try to find you on Facebook, your name usually gets recorded to their database, and it puts your email account at risk of being the next one to show up on one of these databases: http://www.nbcnews.com/tech/security/hundreds-millions-email-accounts-hacked-traded-online-says-expert-n568491 So don't respond. There is something you can do though. Attached to the bottom of every post are four buttons. "Back to top", "Report", and the Quote functions. By clicking on the report button, and typing something like "This is a spambot" into the popup window, this notifies our Management team that there is an objectionable post or topic that should be looked into. The sooner these get reported, the sooner the accounts are banned and topics removed. Thank you much for helping us clear the forums of spam as quickly and efficiently as possible.

I've been kind of inactive lately on both the servers and the forums, and I know it; I just went through a hiring process at Lowe's in my town, and I got hired on there, so I've been busy with that, working at my other job KFC pretty late nights sometimes, and also trying to juggle a relationship as well as college classes and homework. It's tough trying to put my effort and energy into all these things, espically considering the fact that I never get enough sleep. (I'm a night owl) Just wanted to give you guys an update as to where I've been over the past few weeks and why I haven't been as active on the fourms and the servers as of late. I hope everything is going well for everybody else though!

Greetings everyone! Thank you for joining me on my 3,000th post! It is a little more serious than most of my other ones. I know 3,000 isn't a big deal, but I don't post often these days so it took me awhile to get here. We can't all be like Chameleon and get 5,000 posts in a year and and eight months ( hehe <3). Anyhow I just wanted to say a few words about the clan and the great members here. I joined =F|A= on January 25th 2010. I wandered here after a fallout of my previous clan bloodbucket (.bb.) looking to join some of my old friends and find a new place to call home. It's been over 4 years now since I joined and I must say our leaders and members have built an amazing community. I know Dare and all the other leaders put in a lot of work to keep everything running smoothly and they couldn't do it without the help of all of you. On that note I'd like to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication! I can't make any promises, but I would like to show my face more often on some of the servers. Every time I go on a server to set levels I see new faces and I'm sure they wonder who I am as well. I feel that I have missed out on a lot of stuff over the past year or two with my inactivity and I apologize for that. I spent a large portion playing World of Tanks, but I can safely say I am 8 months clean from that game . Thanks for putting up with my inactivity. I leave you with a picture from our favorite cat. Now back to the basement... Someone has been naughty.

I've been camping on this forum for more than 2 years, and reached my ultimate goal : my 2000th post!
