When typing r_lastvalidrenderer i get

is:"Radeon Rx 580 Series" default:"(uninitialized)"

 

did the same thing when I tested the gtx 750 ti

 

What does the uninitialized part mean? Can I initialize it?

ahh its a pb thing .. wierd as fa doesnt run pb.

 

for the gpu part  do u have  intergrated gpu in that motherboard.  

 

sounds to me like u have some bios settings not correct.  so it doesnt recognize your gpu.  if u delete 580rx  it should recognize 750ti .  an change if not u have a bios setting wrong.  is plug an play turned on . 

 

pb is way out dated .  do u have PnkBstrA.exe running  in task manager. 

 

in et in your pb folder it should look like this .

pbag.dll

pbags.dll

pbcl.db

pbcl.dll

pbcls.dll

pbcl.log

pbsv.dll

pbsvc.exe

 

then in dll folder  should be 3 files .

 

wa wc ws with sum numbers.

 

if pb is right ull have 3 exe pnkbstrA  pnkBstrK  pnkbstrB .

 

do you use et legacy  if so legacy creates a folder diff from regular et .. u also need to give this folder admin privilage so it can read write to folder.

Crashes happen on every mod, every server, within just a few minutes of joining. At a complete loss here.

i am also thinking somthing doesnt have admin privilages so it cant read or write to folder.

Just make sure you're set to 

Cl_packetdup 1 and cl_allowdownloads 1

Best 2 try all you can.

Ya screw pb!  Stop pbA and B from running in the background too. I'm still mad over the lag issues they caused when they added the damn pb heartbeat.  Only ever caught the oldest noobiest hacks anyway.

tried same problems.

 

 

Changed some settings as far as administrative tools and deleted all accounts except mine. I have not crashed in over 10 hours, hoping that was the problem, not sure how to explain.

Crashed again, no fix.

 

Connected right after crash, crashed again within minutes. Just need to get new pc.

ive tried /connect ip

connecting through server list

connecting through parameter line in startup of et.

 

All end with same outcome

lower your resolution to native . 1920 by 1080 

 

set priority  in task manager back to normal.

 

set  affinity to core 0

 

ive been reading this error all morning good lord people just dont get too the point .lol lots a junk to read thru. seems to me from google search its pb related. hope haru doesnt get mad but im sharing how he  does it.lol

if it was your pc hardware u would see it fail in every game not just et. something is conflicting.is all.

 

go dl speccy  it will tell u  what all your hardware is doing  https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy

 

 u get no error message ..  it just times you out.  have you configure your firewall to accept et.  firewall will stop things from communicating on your pc. if it was connection it would.  give you some kinda sign on your modem . like being disconnected . or dropping u. an ur error would be connection interrupt not timeout. 

 

if it ws the server everyone would have the problem.

 

 

your target    says et.exe and thats it add + set com_hunkMegs "512" + set com_zoneMegs "128" + set com_soundMegs "64"\

 

mine looks like this .

 

"C:\Users\jesse\Desktop\my et\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\et.exe" + set com_hunkMegs "512" + set com_zoneMegs "128" + set com_soundMegs "64"

 

hunk zone and sound megs wont change if you dont.
