The problem with me running WINMTR is that I can't turn my VPN off or Win 11 kills my internet. captnconcrete Posted August 16, 2021 Share Posted August 16, 2021 (edited) lets see the catalyst settings . for et. is your graphics card driver updated and did the catalyst update also. its a catalyst issue.. try to uninstall the updated drivers and then reinstall last known good ones that worked. driver must support opengl .... can u check your direct x ??? its gotta be compatible with 9.0c in my pc i just type dxdiag hit enter in my start search programms and files it comes right up. your getting a opengl error and this is a graphics driver. issue. captnconcrete Posted August 17, 2021 Share Posted August 17, 2021 you say u shut off windows defender and it worked .. now it doesnt maybe windows defender got turned back on. i uninstalled that crap.lol https://www.opengl.org// im still thinking its a video driver error. i dont think ive seen your cfg u run when this is happening. maybe i missed it but could i see that. with a opengl error its either the driver doesnt support it or cant read it .. or a antivirus / firewall is blocking the rule. im on a w7 older machine so im only going off my own experiences... maybe try a older gpu driver ... and turn off updates for it. i have been def educating my self on this.lol more so than i want too.lol ima guess your graphics driver got updated and sumthing messed up ... Every time I start ET, I go into task manager and set priority to HIGH. Right click ET and set AFFINITY to use only 1 pc (core). Working so far, @HipKat can you test this on yours and see if it helps? I want to get this figured out. I've got loads off ss of people with "game timed out 1-4" They have to be having the same problem. There IS a solution. EDIT: fyi I leave task manager open while gaming, when closed seems settings are not saved as you cannot "apply" these changes.
