is your load perimeter line set like this. or are they stock.

 

right click et icon go to properties .. lookin in target:

 

i believe once u go with custom  cfg u must turn these up or u will encounter problems. 

I have mine set correctly and still have the issue, I have all those graphics settings off that El mentioned and I'm using nVidia 1080

Maybe you could both run an MTR test and see if there's something in common between the two of you like a bad node or something?

Do you both use the same antivirus? Could it be some firewall setting?

The Game timed out 3 ? I also see this on B2

This looks like an issue. @daredevil knows a lot more about this than I do. Why is this node here when it's only requesting 34 packets? 

 

@HipKat can you run the MTR test and see if you have similar results?

@nAbish could you run this while you're playing a game of ET and then end the test shortly after you're kicked from the game?

UPDATE: Still working I'm sure this was the culprit the whole time. Game running great.

The problem with me running WINMTR is that I can't turn my VPN off or Win 11 kills my internet. I have ET Whitelisted but somewhere in the Win 11 settings that IU can't find is a hidden"killswitch" that I can't find

ET back to crashing every couple of mins. Ran perfect yesterday, changed nothing. Not sure what else to do. Maybe burn my pc.. 💣

lets see the catalyst settings . for et. 

 

is your graphics card driver  updated and did the catalyst  update also. 

 

its a catalyst issue..  try to uninstall the updated drivers  and then reinstall last known good ones that worked. driver must support opengl  .... can u check your direct x ??? its gotta be compatible with  9.0c in my pc i just type dxdiag  hit enter in my start  search programms and files it comes right up.  your getting a opengl error and this is a graphics driver.  issue.

Ran dxdiag, this is results. None of my graphics drivers have ever worked as far as I am concerned.

you say u shut off windows defender and it worked .. now it doesnt maybe windows defender got turned back on.  i uninstalled that crap.lol

im still thinking its a video driver error. 

 

 i dont think ive seen your cfg u run when this is happening. maybe i missed it but could i see that. 

 

with a opengl error its either the driver doesnt support it or cant read it .. or a antivirus / firewall is blocking the rule. 

 

im  on  a w7 older machine so  im only going off my own experiences... 

 

maybe try a older gpu driver ... and turn off updates for it.

 

i have been def educating my self on this.lol more so than i want too.lol 

 

 

ima guess your graphics driver got updated  and sumthing  messed up ...

Working so far, @HipKat can you test this on yours and see if it helps? I want to get this figured out. I've got loads off ss of people with "game timed out 1-4" They have to be having the same problem. There IS a solution. 

 

EDIT: fyi I leave task manager open while gaming, when closed seems settings are not saved as you cannot "apply" these changes. When stopped I believe it goes back to normal.
