Lag spikes and connection issue

Lag, teleportation, spikes!? Connection Issues!? (Seriously!??)

(This game just tends to suck like that, you might not ever find a fix, you could have decent ping and still have issues....)

Rates /45000 

Maxpackets / 100

Snaps /20

 

Theses value are forced on jay 1

There is only a few isp provider here and i really hate the others haha! 

 

Besides , everything was fine few weeks ago soo there has to be something that cause it .

@EazyThe lagometer looking like that after a screen shot is normal.

 

 

 

@daredevilI randomly get a normal ping.  For one or two hours last night it dropped back to normal and was playable, then right back to doubled. 

 

Currently having the issue on jay1 @ 2130, ping is 80-100 and normal is 48.  Went and checked hardcore, ping seems to be the normal 28 there so the issue is only jay1. 

 

You can contact me on discord when you're available if you want to try testing anything Haru#0161.  If it's an isp issue, a little advice as to how to steer the conversation to get it fixed would be very helpful.  Spectrum techs sometimes seem to know less than I do, which isn't much.

Looks normal and correct.

Did you try Et legacy as a separate install and basic config yet? If the error follows, i would try a different pc. 

(Just a standard error search method since i am clueless 🤷) Sometimes the simple stuff is the best.

 

Ps. those screeshot pikes indeed are normal on certain servers.

can u make a video of this lag id like to see it.

 

u can test ur connection . and u say u did so . its just when u connect too server.  does it any server u try.  does ur connection also lag when ur browsing . or just usuing it out side of gaming. 

 

when u reinstalled et did u wipe everything clean cuz et stores stuff in more than one folder.  

 

one thing forsure before u do any of those things u did  maybe use the pak3 cleaner alot of times this fixes problems.

 you have tried more than one cfg. so all that stuff u did possibly made it harder to pinpoint. if was me i would remove mod folder and redownload it .. some times this fixes it .. i would go in to your updates  see if anything has been dl in the 2 week time frame. conflicting route to folder cant read folder. if it worked fine once it can be made to work fine again. i would never tell some one to dl etlegacy ,to fix the issue.  is there a cfg setting not changing right.? or it could be possible that there is a issue at the other end of the connection. did your nic update the drivers? im just throwin shit out there.. lol  maybe run et in w7 mode?

 

you can also while on server type r_ and hittabs and will show u all values running on ur cfg.   goes for em all like cg_ com_ s_  is your hunk zone an sound megs set in your load perimeter  line  if not its still stock. sometimes ur stock cfg will over ride your  cfg cuz u didnt type it correctly.

I ran into this article and removed this update from my pc as I have some serious issues with usb ports OR then it is related to this. Worth to try if nothing else helps.

i did just instal drive booster and put some key that i found on the internet to have a pro version and after i run the program im pro version i got around 15 updaters to my computer i will let some codes that maybe still working in cause anyone want
