      captnconcrete, in his profile, claims to be in South Dakota, USA.  That is not terribly far from Canada.  I think that SD was included in that "High Temps Baking N.America" map that I saw recently on the news.  

       

      The weather in this part of California is average: 90s, varying from mid to high levels.  

       

      Note that I am NOT in Death Valley 🔥 and that the humidity is not usually very bad...except when the rare thunderstorms pelt this area. ⛈️ THEN, it gets muggy, even if the temp is only in the 80s F / 26-33C.
