its a Stanley Cup Playoffs donut, similar to a Boston Creme donut with chocolate sprinkles and an edible logo (all chocolate).

the other is a slice of maple creme cake....all low calories and non-fattening of course ;)

and two double double coffees to wash it all down

Phil goes from a complete waste of money, to possibly winning the Conn Smythe trophy as the MVP for the Pens the following year. wtf.

We have named Scott Stevens and John Anderson as assists coaches, i think we have now top 3 if not even best coaches after Hawks now. It has been very difficult to wait new season, "old" is not even ended and i wait upcoming season more than ever before, got Koivu jersey, Wild got great coaches and great assists coaches, we might get new center or players to roster. I hope that we keep Koivu as Captain. With coach like Boudreau all players can see +10 to +20 point increase to they stats, ofc stats is not everything, but now days you cant win Selke if you dont make at least 60+ point. You always wish that your favorite players get recognitation what they earned and now with Boudreau, Koivu might finally get more recognation what he earned. Everyday i think new season, and wish that days would go faster that new season would start already, every night when i go to sleep, i think our line ups and tactics and our chances and which players we should take.

Torchetti did sign assist coach contract with Detroit, i have to say that i liked him a lot, but Boudreau is better coach and that way better choise when we want win Cup, but i liked what Torch did for us and i never forget that. He is now one of my favorite coaches :)

i will share my hard earned winnings with everyone who participated!

lol i honestly didnt think the pens had much of a chance, especially up against the caps in the first round. i figured who ever came out of that round deserves to win it all so i picked both to go far.

meh...predictions. leafs next year all the way!!!

Was rooting for the Sharks towards the end, shame the Pens outplayed them. No worries though, the Hawks will be winning next year which means I will win the pool again as well  B)

Sorry, but nope, Wild will win in next year not Hawks :D

Andersen got traded to Maple Leafs, its hard to scout Andersen when he has played behind so good team, but daam his winning % is high, it is higher than what Hiller or Gibson had/have. Giving him so big contract could be mistake tho, but let see. Fleury could go to CGY. Maybe Arizona then take Rämö or Buffalo might take him also. There is couple other goalie too who can move and those are Howard from Detroit and Pavelec from Winnipeg. Plus at least in Finland here has been rumors that Bishop can be traded and they go with Vasilievsky, because there is risk that they lost Vasilievsky or Bishop free in next year expansion draft.

Wild GM Fletcher say that he looking goal scorer/top 6 forwar to our roster, he didnt say that we are looking center, we have only 7 milj left in salary cap and we need to add at least 4 forward and 1 goalie, it would be great to get Rämö in team, him we could get for 1 milj for 1 year. But for getting scorer we need to trade Vanek or Brodin/Scandella to make salary room, we might trade RFA Dumba too. There is two Minnesota born player coming in free Okposo and Backes and Fletcher style has been sign ex Minnesota's to team, so we might see Okposo or Backes in team, Okposo could be better, but we need second center if we keep Granlund in wing. So that favor Backes. Nugent Hopkins would be good choise or Duchene too, but then we cant add Okposo or Backes and we have to trade Brodin/Vanek/Scandella/Dumba. Vanek can be wild card, maybe he was used wrongly and with more offesive coach he might find his touch again and be that top 6 forward for us.

First round of Drafts http://www.eliteprospects.com/index.php

Not a lot trades done in first day of drafts, but CGY got Elliott from STL, i think that Elliott is underrated goalie, who played again good season and better season than team number one goalie, he out played Halak and now he out played Allen. But Elliott is irregular and he should fix that.

Wild did buy out Vanek what leave us 14 milj room to salary cap, we have only 7 forward signed, but 6 defender and one of defenders we could use in trade. We are looking big first line center or top 6 player, even that we made room to salary cap, we dont have enough room for the Stamkos. But Duchene or RNH we could get now. I really think that we take Backes or Okposo. If we take Backes then we would have 3 ex Captain again in roster (Parise, Pomminville and Backes) Is that too many leaders in one locker room is question mark, and i think that Okposo would be better choise for team, even that Backes is center what we need more if we keep Granlund in wing. But we could use Dumba to get Duchene or RNH now.

Wow couple big trades

P.K. Subban to NSH <-> S. Weber to MTL

T. Hall to NJ <-> A. Larson to EDM

I think Nashville win in Subban trade and in Hall trade New Jersey was huge winner, i am surprised that they didnt get bigger price from Hall, example Fowler or Shattenkirk. I think it was huge mistake from EDM GM to made this trade, no matter if they are signing Lucic or not.

My stomac is full of butterflies already when i waiting what happen tomorrow, which players we take. GM Fletcher say that we are looking top 6 forward. Okposo or Staal could be possibilitys, but i have waited trade to get Duchene or RNH, we can use one of our defenders in trade. We have great wingers already, Niederreiter, Zucker, Granlund, Pommiville and Coyle so all say that we should sign center, but in otherhand i wish that we could get Okposo in team with Staal and it would give us three first line and we could have most widest forwards group of NHL. Okposo is asking 7 milj salary hit tho and i think we can offer 5-6 milj to him and 3-4 milj to Staal. Then it would left us 6-4 milj in salary hit. Gaustad could be good sign also, good PK guy what we need, i was so hoping to get Brodziak back, but he made new 2 year contract with Blues already. Daam i am sad that we let him go last year. Patrick Eaves could be good addition also,

So my top 10 free agent wish list! (players who i would be welcome to my team, i dont mean that i want all 10, 1-3 from this list)

1. Karri Rämö (G)

2. Kyle Okposo (F)

3. Eric Staal (F)

4. Jiri Hudler (F)

5. Tuomo Ruutu (F)

6. Patrick Eaves (F)

7. Paul Gaustad (F)

8. Jamers Reimer (G)

9. Chris Stewart (F)

10. Mikkel Boedker (F)

Wild signed two from my list :) Wow i am happy, i was so so happy yesterday when we got Staal, we got him in super good prize, he can be good and solid first or second line center for us. I started rightway think which line we use Staal, i think Boudreau test him with Parise and Coyle first, i am huge fan of Koivu as u know and this can take little bit pressures out from him and he can play more his game now, i think its no matter which Staal or Koivu is our number 1 center, because if you look out in NHL u need two very good center to make success in NHL, and if coach play u equally its not matter who is in first line, who in second or who is in third.

Stewart signation was great also, i liked him when he played us last time and was disappointend to see him go last year, so it was great to get him back, i am sad that we didnt got Brodziak back, but i am happy that he made new NHL contract and i can keep him in my fantasy team :)

Will keep my fantasy team almost same, couple new player coming, with new contact by Vanek give me chance to keep him now when he have smaller cap hit, but i like to add Rantanen to my team also, that probably mean that i have to let Vanek go.

This what my lineups would probably look out.

Hartnell - Koivu - Parise

Granlund - Couturier - Niederreiter

Komarov - Haula - Jokinen

Rantanen - Brodziak - Zucker

Vatanen - Beauchemin

Määttä - Scandella

Brodin - Reilly

Rämö

?

Extra players would probably take

Stewart

Eaves

Gabriel

Catenacci

Rendulic

Zidlicky

Saros

I need to wait where will Rämö go, if he go outside of NHL then i have to find two goalie and then i probably keep Dubnyk, if Rämö continue and get starter role then i can look back up goalie. Is possible also that Saros will get back up role in Nashville. Couple things unclear still, example if Zidlicky continue in NHL, if not then i need two extra defender and Dumba can be one. Still would like to keep Vanek in my team, but fourth line role would not be correct role to him, and i should count his old salary hit, and i dont have enough room for that, little bit sad to let him go, but i decided to keep Niederreiter.

stamkos was staying put all along. he really had no intention of raising the bar and took less money than other offers.
