lokix420 Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Hey guys, I've noticed some of us are still in school, or go to universties or what have you. I was just wondering; What is/was everybody's favorite subject in school, and also your least favorite subject/s? I enjoyed nearly all of my classes in high school, except mainly math and biology. I struggled for a long time with math, until I asked for help from my teachers and they walked me through problems until I could understand them and do them on my own - which I really appreciated because math was always so confusing to me. I took statistics last month and was nervous about how hard it would be, and it turned out to be much easier than what I was expecting it to be. I also really enjoy my criminal justice classes and learning about the law and how exactly to apply it, and different procedures and whatnot - it's really interesting. I hate anatomy and physiology. I have that for my course this month in school, and it's just really hard for me to grasp. It doesn't help that our courses are only once a month, and we're there for not even 4 hours a day learning. I just get frazzled with all of the different terms in anatomy, the latin, and just basically all the memorization that is required for this class. So far I'm sitting at about a 90%, but we have a quiz tomorrow, and a midterm on Monday - so we'll see how long that 90% will be there for lol. So again, what were your guys' favorite subject/s in school? What were your least favorite subject/s in school? Quote
MrJesseD Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 I like History and English class the most. I am going to start a English teacher education next year! I dislike Biologie, Chemestry and Physics. I think these classes are boring, it does not has my interest. Quote
LeftWingVixen Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 When I was in school, my favorites were Art (I loved to sketch) and Forensics (I like dead things). Least favorite by far was Math. To this day, I still struggle with it only because I don't have a 'logical' mind. Quote
Monoxide Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 All of it...Lmao. No but in all seriousness I always loved Science, Art, and History. My least favorite would be English and Math a close second. Quote
Joshmeister Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 I love math and science (physics and chemistry type subjects), and i hate English because i suck at making inferences. I cant 'connect the dots' if you will haha Quote
Pvt. Parts Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 I love history and Composition because I love to write and create stories (even though I have terrible grammar lol). My least favorite is Chemistry by far, I just do not understand it at all and it is not my cup of tea. Quote
Night Hunter Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 English class and history i think 1 Quote
lokix420 Posted July 25, 2015 Author Posted July 25, 2015 Vix, I had my struggled with math too - I still do. I've taken statistics, geometry, tons of algebra/college math classes, and economics. Math is really confusing sometimes. And there's nothing wrong with not being a logical thinker - just means you use the more creative hemisphere of your brain more frequently, and there's nothing wrong with that. I always loved gym and lunch. History was always fun too, I knew my history classes pretty well. I generally did really well in English class as well. Quote
Aniky Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Gotta say i always enjoyed math, specially because "nerds" could not learn everything there hahah and that was probably the only subject where i could get better grades than them, without learning at all, just common sense and mastermind brains hahah. Next would be geography, i enjoyed and still do, learning about new countries, cultures and such, while some of the classmates didn't even know basics lold, english, history, technology and some more were pleasant as well. For the annoying subjects definitely the literature of my language, when u had to read some 300 pages books or learning some songs, dude i mean seriously, who the fk needs that in real life lold. Always failed badly at those, but yet somehow always managed to get at least positive out of it 1 Quote

ajnl Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 In high school: Religion, Intro to Aerospace Engineering, Sciences (except Chemistry), Design Fundamentals, Web Design and Math (algebra, calculus, etc) were my favorite classes. History and British Literature were fine, I was mostly indifferent about them. Biology, Government, French, America Literature were my least favorite. In College/University: Mathematics, Aerodynamics, Flight Dynamics, Flight Performance, Computational Fluid Dynamics and Space Technology were favorites Thermodynamics, Aircraft Structures, Composites, Communication, and Shell Structures were least favorites .. (I like dead things). Creepy Quote
Leader RedBaird Posted July 26, 2015 Leader Posted July 26, 2015 When I was in school, my favorites were Art (I loved to sketch) and Forensics (I like dead things). ..(I like dead things).Creepy My first thought was that it helped to explain her seemly contrarian personality. Then I realized that she might be like Leonardo di Vinci, who dissected animals and corpses to better understand how to paint pictures of living people and creatures. My third thought is not for the squeamish. Quote
Sisje Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Favorites were languages classes, English & German (did not like French too much), economy, also enjoyed chemistry, doing all kinds of tests Oh and liquor and wine knowledge --> very difficult to learn, places where they grow grapes for wine, the types of the grapes and so on BUT we were able to taste wine, so we kinda ended up being lightheaded when that class ended Math was too easy..Did not like dietetics, religion, history (except WW2), geography, art, physics and only liked half of the gym classes xD Quote
