Learn to respect police that do not understand the law? Learn to respect teachers that push extremist creationist beliefs in public school?  How about learnin' to respect government officials that lie, cheat and steal?

Even better! Learn to respect those slave masters of the south that bought and sold people like commodities.

While respect is a great thing and should always be used, it's a terrible lesson to teach kids to respect all authority all of the time.

You shouldn't respect based on authority, but based on those that show you respect in turn.

With all due respect, don't let the handful of bad apples spoil the bunch. Yes, we all know that there are a**h**** cops and the such, but we are only seeing one side of this story. I was raised to respect anyone in authority, regardless of how much of a **** they are or anything the like. And I've found that if you show respect, respect is shown back. Imagine this: If you were placed in a position in which you had to supervise God knows how many smartass kids, you would most definitely react in the same way as the officer. Im not saying what he said or did is correct, but most likely he has to put up with this shit everyday during the week. I know that, as a firefighter, we go on bullshit runs all the time and they get quite annoying, and we start dealing with them in a different manner. As i said before, if your looking for sympathy, you will get none from me.

P.S. You can always tell when a politician is lying when his/her lips are moving. I cant stand politics. Politics (Poly=many, tics=bloodsucking parasites) :lol2::war:

:spank  Wake up little man. Who pays for your internet bills? Who makes your dinner? Who do you upset by being a persistant foul mouthed annoying, whining naughty little boy. I tell you. Everyone! Wake up. Then... calm down and relax. Not everything is your fault. Think about what you say before you say it. Be true to yourself.  Stay away from drugs and alcohol. And focus on your own fun instead of ruining others. I have hope for you. You will be fine.

WTF? Arrested? Superintendents? 13 years old? The word "bullshit"?

What was the arrest for? Wanting to call his mother? Being 13? W.T.F?

Schools don't really behave like that over the pond, do they?

You must have done something much worse than you've mentioned here.  Or have a reputation for being a bit of a bell-end.

Uhhh you did say schools, Not trying to start shit but just saaayin :yahoo

Actually, he said teachers in public school.

Being a **** gets you nowhere. If, in the unlikely case, you weren't being a **** then you need to learn to pick your fights. Going toe-to-toe with a police officer at 13 won't work in your favour... ever. You might get some enjoyment out of it, a rush of excitement, but ultimately you're screwing yourself over in the long run.

Allright people, time to let the maturity shine and stop all the comments on this thread.

I think the starter of this thread gets what our opinions are on this subject.

Oh, compassion...

Those big bad police officers arresting poor sick kids who want their mommy, it's become a trend in my country as well...

One thing struck me though.

What the hell was the police officer doing in school? Arresting sick kids?

And the conversation started with "I'm sick of this"? Strange, reference words out of the blue.

If you tell a lie, at least make it good, kid...

+read antis post a hundred times, it's gold.
