It's fine when you have a decent player who gives you a challenge but the guy who has a 40-even 50 acc who comes into the server and destroys everyone, even the players who shoot a 40 or 50 acc and have years of experience...aren't really the sorts you want around. They ruin the fun...

It might be mean to say it but no one really wants those kind of "game breakers" around... sometimes it's ridiculous how one "god player" can break the entire server...

 

We try our best to create a gaming environment where everyone who plays fairly and behaves has a place to stay. I personally don't have a single problem with having amazing players on the servers, so your "no one really wants" is not really " no one". I've never seen a scenario where teams were impossible to be balanced because of a single player either. If you find it a mystery that some people with the same accuracy as others can dominate a team there is a lot you don't understand, but I'll assume it was a simplification...

There is stacking on the server. I just left a match that was 2 vs 6 half the map.  Worse yet people don't even know how to stack like "good players"... they will get out the flame or have 4 coverts...or use arty on your spawn. It's ridiculous. People don't understand how to have a fair/ fun game. I don't even want to play anymore because people can't comprehend that when teams are 2 vs 6, you don't spawn camp or arty rape them into oblivion.  There are just too many " stacker god rapey noobs", who play unfairly when a team is already disadvantaged. 

I can understand if it's hard to keep things balanced in scores but some of these players  aren't only up in scores...some of them use your lack of team mates/ scores to their advantage just so that they can frag whore you to death. It's terrible...it's not a enjoyable experience...  They know what they are doing, and they know that they are getting "easy kills".... It's awful to see people take advantage or unfair teams, scores. 

This server is unplayable sometimes... The players that join and just dominate everyone  they tend to balance teams or hurt them. This can't be helped but then when you have a bunch of half way decent players stacking against say 2 half way decent players and they are using heavy weapons and raining down hell fire on you...it's pretty difficult to not complain about it. I've seen half way decent players play fair before when teams were disadvantaged . In many cases it CAN be helped and people still won't switch teams... they will just rape you which is infuriating... They will gang rape you too, it will be 2 vs 6 and they will all just travel together and gang rape you... It's really not .... fun... 

I can't even have a decent, fair, fun game sometimes... with the stacking, camper kills, team rape, the ridiculous arty or heavy weapons on say 2 vs 6 or even 2 vs 2 or 4 vs 4...it's a little ridiculous to use a flame....

Good ET games seem hard to come by anymore....

This of course is all just my opinion but sometimes I just leave the server a lot less happy than I joined it. Anyways, whatever I guess I just leave now. I do moan, complain but I just leave...If I don't want to play then I don' t have to and people are allowed to play however they want to.

Again, you come to the forums moaning about how this game is unenjoyable yet you do nothing to let us help make it enjoyable. You've provided no screenshots, no demos, no names. What is anyone supposed to do about it?

Thank you for the report! Stacking is not allowed on our servers. Unfortunately admins aren't always on the server to deal with such issues straight away. In the future the quickest thing you could do (if asking people in chat to balance doesn't work) is to report it on Discord and  get help from someone that's online.

 

In general please try to take screenshots just in case it needs to be taken to the forums, like now.

I joined yesterday, both teams had 8 players.

Axis was up by 100 pts when I did /scores, so I joined Allies. Gameplan put me on Axis said I was stacking because I looked at the wrong column, then said that's not always how you check it. SOmetimes it's another column or a combo of stats and sometimes it's because of Game flow. FFS, I JUST joined, how the hell am I supposed to know the game flow?? You all make this too damn complicated and every admin has a different way they even teams. 

 

My way is number of players first, scores second. Period!

Captn has a dozen different benchmarks.

El has a way of doing it.

Game has his way.

 

FFS, it's just game, not an official match. It doesn't need to take a college math course to keep the teams somewhat even.

 

And then, getting people to move - that's a whole other story. I don't like moving people but I'm thankful I can if I have to.

Next time something becomes important enough that you absolutely need to sit down and write multiple paragraphs on a situation, make sure you include screenshots or demos.

Post a demo or screenshot and I'll try see if there's an explanation so that everyone is on the same page. The most important stats for /scores when you're just taking a quick glance are kills and damage given.

sorry i took the nite off . had few beers smoked some cheeba and had Acook out. was nice...when this stuff is happening ..i would like to see a screenshot or demo .. i want to see what admins are on not doinganything about it. cuz ive noticed this few times latly my self , 4 or 5 admins in spec. and its 4v8 or 2 v6.kinda pisses me off its not hard too !put team .. or shuffle at beginning of map.

also want to see if its the same people over and over stacking. sometimes numbers mean nothing tho playercount wise ive played 1v6 an won. ive played 2 or 3 v8 and won. so sometimes numbers dont count. alot of the time the number count gets off in beginning cuz the bots do the funky doda and players cant join the team they should becuz axis has more bots. an less players and they cant join .this is easy to fix go spec wait 20 sec a bot will move from oneside to other then u can join. an some players like that rosa fella think they know the server rules better than us admins.lol that shit gets annoying.i would like to see this from u spectator. cuz i dont think ur a bad guy .. pm a level 14 or higher admin with your issues ..  but first take a deep breath ..  dont write a 5 page essay on ur feelings .. and just report whats going .i would like to assure u that we as admins dont like a un fun server either.

 

sidenote same people always bitching same way. after a while u dont get takin seriously anymore. ..if u see admins on id like to think if u noticed it they did 3 maps before. maybe there trying to checkplayers . busy doing things behind the seen to keep it fun. we as admins cant just react on shit we have to gather proof and. follow rules.

I haven't seen admins who are active not do anything. Most just move. Game, Letdown are always quick to move. El also moves and  I try to be the first to move to the other team.

 

Typically, when I join, I'll check player2s. If it's even or 1 player difference, I'll do /scores and then join the losing team, even if they have the extra player.

 

Yesterday, when it got way off, I asked 4 times for someone to move, then just moved BK5 with no complaints. Next map,. same thing happened, BK5 went back to his original team, so after no one volunteered, I moved FEN - again no complaints. On Deli, Wersey joined Allies on even players but Allies were way ahead and completed the construction and had the control room and by the doors so I moved him to Axis, explained why and he also had no complaints - which is why I love Jay 2 players.

I was monitoring teams when you joined. In the moment before you joined Allies, teams were Axis: 5, Allies: 6.

 

When you joined, you made it Axis: 5, Allies: 7.

 

That's why I moved you - which is consistent with your definition of even teams. Not sure where you get 8 v. 8 from, but remember, and I know you know this, 0 pings are bots and they don't count in the even teams equation.

 

What I explained is we don't ONLY look at number of players. We also look at Kills, Deaths, Eff, DG, DR, Score for the map. Here is a great graphic to help keep it straight:

 

 

We also have instructions in a thread that go along with this and in the Admin Wiki. So the assertion we all do it differently, is not even remotely true. What is open to interpretation, is the subjective measurements such as map progress, number of obj players and player's skill levels. For example, and I've used this many times before, you can have a great obj team like the Sky guys all on the same team vs. the camp/shooters. The camp team will get their kills so the kill column will look real good, and the obj team will have plenty of deaths. Teams could have even number of players, but /scores will show a huge diff in kills. Teams aren't necessarily uneven if the map is progressing and the obj team claims the obj to win the map.

I like you too captn. Honestly, as easy as some admins say it is, I don't think it's easy to keep teams balanced/ fair at all times. I might PM you or something... but honestly, at the same time... the admins could have been AFK or might have an excuse. After a whooping, teams got better but by then I was pissed and left.  You're one of the more fun players to play with and a good admin... 

I'll consider recording my recording to share my recording. I think the real reason for venting wasn't to state a official complaint or anything. I think it's just the way it is... Even if you talked to this admins, I for one think they are good admins... 

I don't honestly blame anyone for this, at least admins but I do appreciate it when they can help fix the problem. I'll screen cap it or something I guess...
