I think the memes started coming once both sides had already expressed their point of view. Not sure what more could be added at this point that wouldn't lead to arguments. IMO, lock it or let the comedy keep flowing for fun.

Most sports don’t need to trade a player because there are mechanisms in place that keep them relatively even to begin with — drafts and salary caps in the pro sports, weight classes in wrestling, weight restrictions in peewee / youth sports. 

 

ET certainly isn’t the first sport to try to make teams fair. 

Youth sports have salary caps and trades and drafts?

You're kind've changing the subject. I never supported keeping teams uneven, I simply called out how teams are kept even. So please don't put words in my mouth. As far as my clans,. that was pretty much years ago when I was just an overall much nicer person....But there is a pretty nice thread on here about my experiences with my clans and others I was a member of

 

this was the ideology that you applied on your servers I am not surprised they didn't stand the test of time.

 

And THIS is what I meant by superiority.

ETPro is dead. If it was thriving like silEnT and Jaymod, im pretty sure the top players would prefer to play there anyway.

OK, you’re kind of going off topic. When I was a kid, playing hockey, the really good kids didn’t play in a house league, they started out on a traveling team hoping that they would get noticed and then picked up by a farm team or a scout for an advance league.

 

 It’s not even a good comparison because in ET, at least on these servers, there are no other divisions or levels.

 

 BTW, I would prefer to play Pro, then I would never have to complain about noob weapons and evening teams and that kind of thing but it’s dead. I commend the discord page for ET pro trying to keep it going but the truth is they are holding on to the last gasping breath‘s

Just a thought:
So if we had f.e 24 nightmares vs 24 me's. Would it be fine if we were playing some long map like capuzzo, where the other team wouldn't actually go for obj? That would be somewhat 40 minutes of slaughter and no chance to exit spawn and just die and die, would the players on other team stay or even the server?  

ps: the 'not playing obj' part is not the main reason, just an example of a really bad situation I thought about.

There are no official divisions or levels but you can clearly see who is good, average, bad. If these players are distributed fairly on both teams, everyone can enjoy themselves, not just the ones owning the other team like nobodys business. Our goal is to make sure everyone is having fun, If one team is getting rolled, then thats an issue and we would resolve it regardless of whether you think its wrong to move people mid game or not.

 I agree, that would be a terrible situation unless you were one of the nightmares but fortunately we don’t have 24 nightmares going against 24 you’s.

 

  It what you said did just remind me of something that I could consider as a compromise. If one team is stacked with all of the best players who are on there on a regular basis, then you still don’t need scores, you can just look and see that that team is stacked and if they’re killing the other team then some of those best players need to be separated.   But the fact is there are only a couple of people that you would consider the very best that play on the server so that doesn’t often happen and where I complaint comes in is when it’s just regular players and some regular player joins and teams are even, and he picks allies because he prefers allies and didn’t notice the scores were off, it shouldn’t be like in emergency situation. Also, like I said, sometimes one team starts out  crushing the other team at the beginning of the map sometimes ends up losing because of players coming and going or if the losing team is attacking, they manage to get the objective
