if we can make jay2 a EU server with TSP rating enabled than I am all for it. If you are able to create a list of incoming IPs you should really check how many of your players are EU and how many of your servers are. Good silent servers: silent1, HC, both US. Good Jay servers: Jay1, Jay2, both US. Subjectively speaking of course

That is fairly doable. What would be server name?

jay1 europe :P

Nop. Adren will be available as its Jay2 copy. Just need to change server binaries and put on Linux machine so that we can support TSP. Windows is no go. Might reboot machine tonight and then get it going.

I play on J1 for several reasons: gamewise the m97 and its power. I am 1 (of the few) medics that plays obj a fair amount of time. And I do what medics suppose to do: I heal. I choose healing above saving myself from a death most o t time. The thing is alot of meds are the raters, they heal themselves and r quite powerful tbh. One of the few things I have against the raters r the gun and my nades. Because mostly the raters use those less as medics. So I like it that way :). I also play for the players who i like on J1. Don't get me wrong: a lot of players r twats... but there r a lot of nice ones too ;)

I played on NQ1 too. I like the players there too, and some vsays. A very big plus there is the ability to pick up any weapon. Makes it a lot of fun. But... I miss my Lucille there (m97 j1 style) , so lately I stick to j1.

So server have a different style and that is good. I am wondering if indeed not J1 changes, but small changes on other server(s) might do (part of) the trick.

Stopwatch servers are very obj based, and they are not our most impactful server :\ as far as I know

U don't need stopwatch to have an OBJ based server. Double jump and all that is fine, but the primary task should be the OBJ not getting kills, and it is improvable by tweaking some settings.

It's not the server that decides i.e. it needs to be OBJ based or not. It's the players.  I wish I can enforce all servers to OBJ but no one listens to me :(

I agree it mainly lies with the player, but I think that we can try and change some settings to both persuade players to go for OBJ and to make them enjoy it more.

I think when you give people stuff like dj, adre, double weapon, throwable knives, etc etc, it will deter them from doing the obj.
