After seeing an influx of our own userbase promoting their Youtube Channels all over the place, I've decided to compile a list of users with active channels. This way you can find and support your fellow clan or community homeskillets with some likes, views, or subs. If you'd like your channel added to the list, leave a post and we can add you to the main list. You can also discuss videos or the channels they're related to if you're so inclined. Will be listing these alphabetically. (I know there are more, but I can seem to recall who. Hit me up if you want to be listed.) May also add other video hosting sites as well (i.e. Twitch) CHANNELS: FEARLESS ASSASSINS OFFICIAL CHANNEL: https://www.youtube.com/user/FearlessAssassins (Currently a bit inactive. If you are viewing any YouTube videos via Fearless-assassins right now, and have having delays, it is not our forums. 😄 https://downdetector.com/status/youtube/ Shows over 98,000 reports of trouble in the last hour and 5 minutes. When watching a video, it may play for 5 or 10 minutes and then show the "busy-circle". Now it seems to be play on Chrome for about 1.5 minutes. A short vid via Opera "Private Window" played through okay. I wonder if this is related to the YouTube download cache and whether YT is 'fetching' more data when the cache nears depletion??? The reports are pouring in. This chart is from 3 minutes later.

Greets, Folks! After years and years of never delving into it, I finally started experimenting with some recording and editing, and created a YouTube channel, and see where it goes! Here is an amusing bit of action on the bridge in Insurgency. Take a peek and see if you agree.

Gonna spam this section with random ass gameplay! Started a new "Series" (lolwut) called Randomizer. It's basically gameplay where I don't need to focus on story let's plays, reviews, or being consistent. Mostly games with rogue-like elements, multiplayer focused, or just do whatever you want gameplay. Anything from Minecraft to COD to whatever else I can find. Starting this off with some GTA V gameplay to test it out. Dirt Bike Huntin'

Hey guys, as some of you know I started a new youtube channel which isn't doing too bad. It would be of great help if someone were to create a new logo for me (and a banner if they have the time). I'd prefer the banner to have =F|A=FireWienie I'd also prefer the logo or profile picture to be a cool looking F or FW The colours should be red/orange I'd appreciate it and if the creator would like, I can put a special thanks for them in the description (not the greatest, but it's one of the best ways I can pay them back xD) Thanks a lot!

Felix 'PewDiePie' Kjellberg has become the first YouTube user to exceed more than ten billion views on his channel. Kjellberg announced the milestone, which he hit on September 6, 2015, on Twitter to his six million followers Kjellberg created the PewDiePie channel six years ago. In December of 2012, he signed a deal with online video content creator Maker Studios, which is now owned by Disney. Discussion his popularity on YouTube, Kjellberg previously said it is somewhat unsettling: "I'm so central to YouTube now, and that puts me in the spotlight and raises a lot of questions like 'Why is he so big?'" Kjellberg said. "I'd much rather prefer to have something like 5 million subscribers." The PewDiePie channel currently has just over 39 million subscribers. https://www.youtube.com/user/PewDiePie The subject of how much money PewDiePie earns has been a hot topic of discussion this year. In July it was reported that he earned 63 million SEK (around $7.5 million) in 2014 and generates over $4 million in ad sales per year. The YouTube star responded to negative comments resulting from the reports of his earnings with a six-minute video that recounts his rise to prominence and said "money doesn't make you happy." He said: "Money is a topic that I purposefully tried to avoid for the five years I've been making videos. I just feel like it's not important to anyone. I just want to make entertaining videos. "Whenever it comes out how much I made a certain year, people just get so shocked. A lot of people were also very angry. They thought it was unfair. They thought I just sit on my ass and I yell at the screen over here--which is true--but there's so much more to it than that." He continued: "I understand that haters are going to hate, but I really think that money doesn't make you happy. I'm just as happy now as I was five years ago. I'm very happy that I don't have to worry about paying rent." PewDiePie, who is known primarily for his Let's Play videos also regularly organises charity drives. In June, 2014 he raised $630,000 for the Save the Children charity. Source http://www.gamespot.com/

The prominent YouTube network Machinima Inc. has settled charges filed by the Federal Trade Commission accusing it of engaging in deceptive advertising by paying its "influencers" to make videos promoting the Xbox One and various games for the system, without disclosing "that they were being paid for their seemingly objective opinions." The FTC complaint, which can be read in full here, states that Machinima's Xbox One "influencer program" was rolled out in two phases. The first involved five influencers who were given explicit instructions regarding the content of each video they made, while the second was open to its entire network, who had to follow somewhat less specific guidelines. In all cases, the creators were paid for their work, some quite well: Adam Dahlberg earned $15,000 for posting two video reviews to his SkyVSGaming channel, while Tom Cassell was paid $30,000 for a pair of reviews he put up on TheSyndicateProject channel. But in neither case did they disclose that they were being paid for their opinions. In fact, the FTC notes that both videos "appear to be independently produced and give the impression that they reflect [their] personal views." Furthermore, the "video campaign agreement" that participants in the second phase were required to sign included a provision requiring that they "keep confidential at all times all matters relating to [the] agreement," including that they were being paid to promote the products. "Through the means described in Paragraphs 9 through 22, Respondent [Machinima] has represented, directly or indirectly, expressly or by implication, that video reviews of Microsoft's Xbox One and the Launch Titles reflected the independent opinions of impartial videogame enthusiasts," the complaint states. "In truth and in fact, the video reviews for Xbox One and the Launch Titles did not reflect the independent opinions of impartial videogame enthusiasts. Respondent's influencers created the video reviews as part of the global advertising campaign to promote sales of Xbox One and the Launch Titles." Making the matter even more alarming is Machinima's reach. The FTC said the campaign produced more than 300 videos that drew more than 30 million views between November 22 and December 31 of 2013. “When people see a product touted online, they have a right to know whether they’re looking at an authentic opinion or a paid marketing pitch,” Jessica Rich, director of the Bureau of Consumer Protection, said in a statement. “That’s true whether the endorsement appears in a video or any other media.” The settlement, available here, specifically prohibits Machinima from representing its influencers as "independent users of the product or service being promoted" in future campaigns, and sets specific terms for prominent disclosure of advertiser relationships in the future. For the next five years, it is also required to maintain documentation demonstrating its compliance with all aspects of the settlement, and to present them to the FTC for inspection upon request. Microsoft and its advertising agency, Starcom, escaped sanction because, while they were "responsible for the influencers’ failure to disclose their material connection to the companies, [the] Commission staff considered the fact that these appeared to be isolated incidents that occurred in spite of, and not in the absence of, policies and procedures designed to prevent such lapses." The Machinima case closely resembles that of 3BlackDot, the publisher of Dead Realm, which used its own network of influencers—including Cassell, one of the respondents in the Machinima matter—to create and post YouTube videos promoting the game without consistently disclosing that they are also co-founders of the company. In that case, the YouTubers in question aren't being paid by an outside company to promote a product, but instead have a financial stake in their own product's success—effectively the same thing. 3BlackDot said in a follow-up statement that it is "commonly known" among members of the Dead Realm community that its influencers are also co-founders of the company, but that would seem to fall short of the FTC's requirement for, and definition of, "clearly and prominently" disclosing such relationships. I noticed the FA channel on Youtube is pretty inactive. Around 3 years ago is the last posted Video. This is a crowded space on YouTube I know. Views are hard to come by. BUT....I'm making Videos about the ET servers for FA and I wanted to know if you guys minded before I go crazy with all this work. Noteworthy: *The quality of the videos is lacking. I have made COD vids that are crispy clear. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why I cannot clean up the ET vids I record. *You won't be impressed by them, at least YET. I only have my traveling laptop with me. My desktop PC is still in storage in Florida. I'm stuck up here in New Jersey for the moment. *The editing is also lacking because of this incessantly slow laptop I have to use. It also doesn't help that I am recording and playing from the same crappy laptop. *These will improve over time in terms of content and quality but I am tied up in timewise several buisinesses and making these YouTube channels for my kids to exploit. My time to do this is very limited and I'll try to get at least one or two vids a day. I'm already stretched very thin. Please if you don't mind my efforts*** I know nearly everyone here watches YouTube. I ask that you at the very least subscribe to the channel, and like the videos, even if you do some bounce backs(Clicking the video, liking and immediately turning them off lol). This liking and subscribing will raise the channel and the videos in the suggestions and related video queue. This will raise the visibility of these videos greatly and in turn also the server existence as well. And no, I am not a youtube partner or monetization platform, so you can do these things with a clear conscious Other than populating the server with my mediocre gameplay, this will be my contribution to this community and a thanks for keeping this game alive with good servers and players. You can connect with me on Facebook This is my YouTube Channel This is the Official FA YouTube Channel P.S... YES, the pure frag videos are coming! The time it takes to cut these up and render is not in my reality atm. But soon, yes soon. Thnx

I will be making a series of videos to showcase how awesome ET is (and these servers) here is the first of them, see if you spot yourself https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5nK7ZR9oV9E Im working on the quality xD

Following the introduction of 60fps video playback last year, YouTube on Thursday announced a new update that will let people conduct 60fps livestreams. The one catch, at least for now, is that the higher frame rate is only supported as part of an early preview for HTML5-compatible browsers. "When you start a live stream on YouTube at 60fps, we'll transcode your stream into 720p60 and 1080p60, which means silky smooth playback for gaming and other fast-action videos," YouTube explained in a statement. "We'll also make your stream available in 30fps on devices where high frame rate viewing is not yet available, while we work to expand support in the coming weeks." YouTube said it appreciates that better frame rate is a key concern for video game streams. As such, the Google-owned video giant has worked with game capture technology companies like Elgato and XSplit for new version of their capture technology. The new versions of Elgato Game Capture, XSplit Broadcaster, and XSplit Gamecaster are available now, YouTube said. What's more, YouTube pointed out that any app using the site's new livestreaming API can mark their stream to run at 60fps. In addition, YouTube has rolled out what it called another highly requested feature for livestreaming: HTML5 playback. "As of this week, YouTube live streams will use an HTML5 player in supported browsers," YouTube said. "And because our HTML5 player supports variable speed playback, you can skip backward in a stream while it’s live and watch at 1.5x or 2x speed to catch back up." The introduction of 60fps livestreaming, and more announcements to come later, are part of YouTube's effort to go head-to-head with Twitch. According to a report from March, "Gaming and eSports in particular are going to be a big driving force for the new-look YouTube Live." Source: http://www.gamespot.com/

Helping you connect with your fans is extremely important for you and for us. This includes replacing little-used features with better ones. Currently video responses have a click-through rate of .0004% -- in other words, only 4 out of every 1 million users who sees a video response clicks on it. So, on September 12 we’re going to retire this little-used feature as we work to develop more effective fan engagement tools for creators. The team is focused on enabling you to share video links in comments. Doing this in comments will let creators and viewers add more context to a video, and more context should drive more engagement. What were we watching this year? Let’s rewind 2011. One hundred years into the future, when our great-grandkids look back to what was capturing the world’s imagination on YouTube in 2011, what will they make of us? Will they still be delighted by babbling babies? Will they still be “so excited” about the weekend? And will they be any closer to understanding the mystery of the space-traveling toaster pastry cat? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=SmnkYyHQqNs Check out YouTube.com/Rewind for a timeline of this year's most popular videos and events and to see what the world watched in 2011. Today, we rewind through the videos and channels that absorbed our collective global attention this year. To compile these lists, we looked at global view counts of popular videos uploaded throughout this year, and, in some instances, we aggregated views across multiple versions of the same video. 2011 was a year of amazing new channels and new stars being discovered, awesome creativity, and of course, Rebecca Black. It was also a year of powerful news stories playing out on YouTube, as people witnessed and documented uprisings and natural disasters, touching personal moments and moments of protest. In total, there were more than 1,000,000,000,000 (one trillion) playbacks on YouTube this year (yep, count ‘em, 12 zeroes). That’s about 140 views for every person on the earth. More than twice as many stars as in the Milky Way. And if I had a penny for every … OK, you get my drift, it’s a big number. So to all of you who picked up a guitar and sang a love song, held your camera phone high above a protesting crowd, danced along to “Friday” or just forgot the webcam was on, thank you. You make YouTube what it is, and we can’t wait to hear your stories next year. Without further ado, your most-viewed videos of 2011.
