So you’re saying it’s set so you can’t play the same map again until you play 8 others? If so I 100% call shenanigans because over the last week I’ve only had a total of about 2 ish hours a day to play and the other night I played Italy twice lol. Ain’t no way we played 8 maps in not even 2 hours 😂

There's a cvar for it, so yeah 

 

g_minMapAge

Description:

How long a map is ineligible for voting during intermission, after it is played last time.

Only valid when g_gametype is 6 (see Map Voting)

Default: 3

That is my understanding with the 8 maps rotation we have on S1.

you can play it twice in an hour if done quicly, 8 short maps (5-10 mins) is approximately an hour

That would be characterized as a GREAT 2 hours of fun with Italy 2x's  :O)

I do suppose that could have happened though; I never do take in consideration no rush rule on S1 therefore sometimes maps go hella fast 😛 

 

We cant limit the maps that show up per x amount of players like we do on ETL can we? I think that would be great to eliminate a few smaller maps off the list when server is full, or vise versa, eliminate some of the bigger maps when server is not full either. Some maps are just pure chaos and others you spend way to much time running to die and do it all over again 😛

A recent vote shown 14 maps. If i add 8 maps not shown i come up with 22 maps.

 

Where are the 6 missing maps ?

 

Or there is something i dont understand ? (that's prolly the case)

Yes we can, I've been working on that, currently i removed etl_special_delivery, etl_braundorf and beerrun with high player count. Also, i intend to add new bigger maps to replace those
