Format - 

Add Map -> Map name  + URL to download the map - if not in our download section, upload and share URL.
Remove map -> Map name

 

Can provide multiple add/remove maps in same post.

Oh thanks for this, didn't know you were already working on a new rotation though 😛. Just curious, what do the 2 numbers mean? I was only expecting 1 lol.

 

Thanks for the new rotation, I'd suggest dropping UJE_00 down to 12, 64 cause we rarely hit 16 players and if we do it's not for long so that map might never be seen.

I think the first number would be the score and the second the total of votes.

For instance

sw_cathedral_b7	-2	8

Cathedral 's result is -2 and 8 people cast their votes

 

Note many votes because i think there is a reset every first day of month.

 

Correct me if I am wrong.

Removed. We are changing jay3 rotations very fast based on players feedback and liking on server. Slowly jay3 is doing good. Sometimes once a week and sometimes weekly as well and sometimes within same day. 

 

If Jay2 regulars can come together and keep suggesting to me to add/remove maps based on live feedback, I can do rotations every week or even day. On top, I can set up access 2 of jay2 regular admins so they can change themselves as well. 

 

The one thing is - adding 50 maps will not help. Adding liked maps and removing non liked maps will help the regular player base first and then we try with adding more different good maps. Just Discord me and I will be able to change rotations very fast.

Oh this seems like a great idea, I can message whoever does it and see how the maps I've been testing with Cheep work out on the server a lot quicker than I was imagining.

 

I've missed quite a bit since I was away but I'll read back through this thread at some point and compare it with the maps I had in mind.

I'll just be happy to see Jay2 get more people so hopefully this'll do the trick.

Haven't played this map in a long time but it was nice to play it again, would like to see it on a few F|A servers. Axis attack on this map so it'll add some variety. 

 

Dingenskirchen_b2

This is one of the best looking maps I've seen in ET, would like to test it with more people first but should be good for Jay1 as it's quite a large map. Really nice attention to detail too. Also winter themed. 

 

Mitchelldown

Again just another large objective focused map.

- Dingenskirchen : we had it for a while but it has been removed. I can't recall why. Maybe because of the size of the pk3 (60Mo) ?

The goal is to put maps so that majority players stay on server. Just sharing my view point.

Laggy map + crazy FPS drop + map in itself was hated. I remember @captnconcrete complaining for it as well. Or that was another map?

Haven't played it for a while. Ok for camping and feedback about this one as time permits.

Absolutely. I don't like laggy maps either.

As I said I don't remember the reason why we removed it.

Anyway there are so many maps to pick so no worries 👍

Just waiting for some feedback from other players.

 

About votes : yeah, so many do not vote. They whine and do not suggest anything lol.

FA Italy is lower rated than fp2. I'd prefer the UJE version but I don't remember how it did on Jay2 😛

UJE_00 removed from Jay1, I would prefer keeping on Jay2.

arta is very hard for Allies.

breakout(371) is great

marketgarden(dual objectives) is ok, But can be ended quick.

warbell really needs anti-rush for all the forward gates(both sides).

UJE 00 is pretty boring with the amount of people we get on Jay2.

I'm not sure what antirush on the gates of Warbell would be useful for? There's antirush on the bell construction box so that prevents rushing altogether, Axis just need to beef up their defence around that point. It'll be fine on Jay2.

I like the challenge of Arta on Allies and more often than not, that's the team I play on since attacking is what I find most fun in ET.

2hide and Marketgarden can be easily fixed with antirush if they're ended too quickly.
