Format - 

Add Map -> Map name  + URL to download the map - if not in our download section, upload and share URL.
Remove map -> Map name

 

Can provide multiple add/remove maps in same post.

Is there a way that whenever the server owner of Jay #1 change map.
That he also post a complete list of the maps that are currently running, so all players incl admin are able to see and check it :)

Srry to bump this, but ive got a question,
Can we just not renew alot of maps that are in jay1 right now?
Maybe compare with the maps that running on other fa servers.
honestly i play for months almost the same maps over and over again.
Few times alot of people dislike the map. and want to skip.

I know people should make suggestion, but not everyone is into discord or forums.
i know it might be risky due players might drop, i dont think that would happend if we just swap some arround.

Also plz make sure to use some larger maps as we have a 60 player base server we have some low end maps that is very small for such amount.
its my 2 cent ofcourse.
and for now ive need a time to research and post my findings of maps but iam just wanted to share this.
and maybe some others might think the same? if so please speak up iam much appreciate!

I love jay1 as its my main server, but sometimes its boring!

I'm working on a new rotation cycle.  It will be a weekly/monthly cycle.  A different rotation every week, 4 weeks in a row, and it cycles back to the first one after the 4th.

 

Some of the more popular maps will be in each weekly rotation.

 

I still have a lot of work to do on it.  So if you have any idea for new maps or really dislike one, lmk.  All new maps will have to have waypoints for bots unless someone is willing to do it themself.

Keep em coming guys.  Now's the time to let us know what you want removed and maps you'd liked added.  I'm keeping a tally of everything posted since last update.

Since ET has been added on steam, so many player join this server.

 

It also mean we will not able to play this original radar anymore☹️

 

Also change fueldump from 0, 36, to 0, 64,

it crashes and it's not fun anymore then 40 players.

What about Minas do you think doesn’t work well with a lower player count?

 

The map objectives are entirely linear and it has only one path forward for most of the map. I have seen it play well with 16-36 humans many times. If anything the congestion with 40+ players at the 3rd, 4th, and 6th barriers make it too stagnant and dull.

Industry has issues with more then 32 players - Entity error if IIRC.

Axis Bot will stay outside the 1st Gate in entire game, or may be need to fix Axis Bot waypoint

I like Industry, would work fine with less players.

 

Hydrodam can be fun, but if one team is stacked it gets hard.  Maybe removing flags would work but then we'd have to have everyone spawn at first spawn or blowing door and getting docs would be too hard.
