Jay 1 lag issues

Hello,

Three days ago, almost everyone have been experiencing lag during their time on the server. I have noticed that the lag kicks in when someone discovers an enemy land mine.It also kicks in whenever we are on a big map.

I wish i could provide more details but I don't have any knowledge in server maintenance.

Cheers.

Everyone is having 300-999 ping right now, what is causing this?

winMTR?

@ALL

I have asked 10000000's time... 100 and 500 packets winMTR so i can see what's the issue.

Data to Google won't help us any. :rolleyes:

Please run WinMTR with the address pointed at the server (jay1.clan-fa.com), and run for 100, 500 and 1000 packets.

WinMTR requested by Tipsy:

I had no trouble on Tram map on Jay 1 a little while ago, when so were many complaining of lag.

I don't know why my ping to jay1 has dropped by 20 in the last two days.  OK, found out why...my path does not travel to San Jose to LA and across the country, but has a direct path across the USA on Nlayer Communications Internal/backbone now.

Ending about 8:50 pm PDT/ 3:50 am GMT, from Northern California, routed through San Jose and LA.

My ET-ping reported on Jay1 is 83-86 now, instead of just over 100 on good days.
