Administrators daredevil Posted September 15, 2011 Administrators Share Posted September 15, 2011 Anyone got any suggestion for good vampire movies?
Malokyte
As soon as vampire get mentioned, the movie instantly reaches a new level of suck. That being said, older Dracula films aren't that bad. It's amusing to see what they do with such limited tech to try to make it scary. And the Dracula with the same guy who played Darth Tyrannus in Star Wars (the one who got killed at like the start of Episode 3) plays Dracula in one of them. Looks funny as hell, but I haven't watched it. Supposedly it wasn't half bad, but I doubt that. Vampire movies tend to be bad in general, just because people either go overboard with the vampire mythology, or Twilight happens and kills a generations-worth of brain cells. nani*
Best of all, no doubt Nosferatu. Fright night (1985) was good, we will see if the remake of this year is to match or not. Bram Stoker's Dracula is in my top list. Blade, the first movie is on my fav list (awesome BSO:)). Underworld film series are in my fav list also, by the way next year opens the fourth film. The Twilight series are ok also, but acknowledge they are too pastelists
