I could kill El 1 in a 10 times when I was playing against him, but I'm going to be the bad guy and tell you why that is. I play on the default config btw. Nothing changed from how the game comes when you download it, and I am pretty comfortable killing people. And coming back to El, drumroll please... El is a hell of an experienced player and he clearly put effort in perfecting his shooting skills and gamesense. The mystery lingers... 2 Quote

Unless their entire team is PUSH PUSH PUSH and you're the only one pushing. 😄 I find that playing aggressive helps sometimes but not always and if the other team is too aggressive...nothing can save you if your team is docile.. 1 Quote

Vice86 Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 I have seen a tatic where a player stands still with his noobstick in his hands besides the command post on bremen, and even not the covie destroying the CP did take notice he was there. If you dont move, noone will see you... (a true story) But so many servers and different ways to approach to the goal... that my personal conclusion would be, only teamplay is always key to success in ET. Can´t tell how many times i have seen a highly scoring team shredding the enemy while a bunch of engies and covie managed to do their job, and none of the enemy rambomedics wanted to change classes and defuse some dyna or else... That´s what i love so much about ET. It´s not just plain killing and fragging... its a teamplay game. Of course it´s always helpful if the good players are spreaded amongst the teams equally wich results in fairplay though, but that´s what we are here for i guess. 1 1 1 Quote

I'm noticing that if you watch tutorials and listen to other people you not only learn what makes you unique, your own strengths and weaknesses but how to improve upon yourself. I am able to own myself more. What I thought were weaknesses other artists saw as areas that I could use to my advantage. It's strange that watching someone else you learn about yourself. El gets a lot of attention but really, for a game that most people who play are old timers, it's weird how some forget that have been a fair number of players - just like in every game/sport/job, etc that just rise way above the rest. El is one of those. In the day, I played against legends like sQzz, Nuggan, WInghaven and that "generation" who were the same way. Before you really saw them, you were dead.... Iomen is very good, too but the divide between him and El is pretty wide. I almost never get a kill on El. Hell, I almost never, ever even get Headshots on him. Iomen has gotten me WAY more times than I've gotten him, but I DO get kills on him, fairly regularly. 1 Quote
