Maybe I should have said 'cooked', im talking about the superficial skin of the pineapple has to be well cooked and not over or under heated... amovos
I say YES! Why? 1. Pineapple pizza + Ham = delicious because ham goes well with sweet tastes (e.g. honey + ham off the bone) 2. Tomato sauce goes well with sweet fruits if not too much herbs are in the sauce (e.g. chicken pilaf + tomato sauce https://www.toineskitchen.com/recipes/pilaf/) 3. Bread/dough/pizza dough + fruit is fine! We put alll kinds of jam and marmelade on bread across europe My questions is, do people that do not like pineapple pizza not like pineapple in general? That seems the most logical explanation to me 😛 By the way.. try grilling a slice of pineapple on the bbq.. it is heaven!
