I believe sneaking through the doors with a cov is still possible

Don't know if it's doable, but maybe a 'rush' script which lock the objectives can help.
So each objective becomes available when the previous one has been completed.

Yeah i think it was LOL but cant be 100%, went through door past bots as engie and blew generator bypassing tank barrier 2 and antenna so wasnt DJ. I'm saying its LOL because he was giving it the "all thank LOL" at the end when axis had won. They were pretty much pinned down so rather than continue trying to blow 2nd tank barrier and fixing tank hes gone through the door instead. I did make it clear to all on that bypassing objectives was not allowed and fooks the spawn points so should i see LOL do it he has been warned along with everyone else on at the time. More frustrating as players like snoop, LOL and sping have all done it before and all know its not allowed so in a way they are taking the p*ss. lol

 

I think an anti rush sort of script as suggested by blaat would be great if it was possible, although in this case it wasn't so much of a rush and more a frustration at not being able to fix tank sort of bypass.

About MLB_Daybreak. The main point is : that door is a door, we all know it, so it can be opened by a disguised covert op with an engineer with him, and then proceed the map. Another way is the engineer that wait that door opened then sneak through it. Both cases will skip the previous objective, but seems legit according to the ET / NoQuarter game mechanics.

 

But we have the rule N. 21 which clearly says:

 

You can't finish the objective by skipping previous objectives which screws up whole map flow. Ex- Minas. Blowing up middle gate, allows to skip initial objectives and gives unfair advantage to one team. That can't be done, irrespective of rush rule of any server. Map exploiting is prohibited in every shape and fashion.

 

The rule N. 21 seems to fight against the NQ1 rule N.2 which says: Trickjumping is allowed to complete the objective after 5 minutes.

 

We should consider the rule N. 21, prior in every map where it's possible to complete an objective before the previous?

Or this rule can be ignored in case of allowed Trickjumps (NQ1 rule N.2), disguised covert op + Engineer, engineer sneak?

I think this part explains it clearly. Players are not allowed to skip objectives to gain an unfair advantage. Rule 21 overrides the specific server rule in this case because skipping objectives drastically screws up the map flow.

I myself have thought about those 2 rules a lot and came to the conclusion its more map specific in a lot of ways. In daybreak the objective in this case was to blow the 2nd tank barrier and get the tank to blow the gate, trick jumping/sneaking through the door and blowing the generator however isn't completing those objectives but instead bypassing them.

 

Now take a map like oasis for instance and you could argue that jumping the wall to blow the guns was no different as your jumping over the "objective" (wall) but in a small map like oasis should the wall be skipped its very easy for axis to spawn at the back and defuse the dyna. In daybreak skipping 2-3 objectives not only gives axis a huge advantage time wise but it also buggers the allied spawn points up where they are actually spawning behind axis at the missed objectives so axis now have a clear run to next objectives etc.

 

If i spot players quick enough or hear the plants etc i have time to sort it but if i dont the next thing you know is the map is screwed up and axis have an awful long time on the key card part and usually the map ends with 30+ min left on the clock while half of allies are still at the missed objectives. :D

For me the biggest gripe on daybreak is that it tends to be players who do know better who are usually the culprit, they already know its a no no and they know it buggers spawns etc, yet they still do it. That is not only frustrating but basically them giving two fingers saying i'll do what i want cos i can and sod everyone else.

Unfortunately it's still possible to bypass the dam access gate, not sure how it's done though

@daredevil Here you go

Its done by jumping from one roof to another (long roof near the radio to the one with the launcher)
A simple wall next to the barbwire fence should solve the issue (or make the fence take damage, ppl get killed that way)

In that previous comments - it was 100% LOL. It might be slightly confusing for some players as on some maps TJ is allowed (after 5 mins), at some maps not allowed at all (MLB). I sent msg to LOL telling him he is on your radar for MLB TJ so if he does it again and again - he was told by few of us already. 

At the same time - from yesterday - Oasis map and not sure who was that player - he did DJ so passed wall AFTER 5 mins and he got !warn from one of your trial admins for that. Which goes in my opinion against NQ1 rule as it says it is ok. 

Now maybe subject for new topic but as I am lazy panzawanking troublemaker - next rule from NQ1 - quite often I can see !speak or even !warn for some players who start talking their own language on main chat. As it says it is allowed till certain level. But quite often this !speak or !warn is given straight away after even one sentence. Esp. to new players who don't have a clue about your WIKI or forum or private msg command it might be confusing as hell. Also imho some admins can be bit more tolerating with this as it is clearly stated here (wiki) it is allowed "up to certain ..." so I would say few sentences are ok. 

Why I put all this into one subject? As I wrote in previous topic about SK rule implemented differently by different admins - same as TJ at Oasis etc. - maybe you need to have some admin chat about rules so it's not like one guy says this, next guy says that and at the end we wait for final word from Devil on a forum. Meanwhile players are getting warns etc. for not "following" rules and rules.

We can also add MLB Daybreak as an entry for Map Specific Rules in the Wiki if a script doesn't work.

I would remind the WJ/Obj skippers, in most cases doing the obj in the wrong order means the rocket will not blow at the end of the map. No matter what they do the countdown will not start in most cases...

On Caen 2 you can jump from the small window with the staircase onto the roof where the documents are located. After 5 minutes the rush script ends and you can get the documents and finish the map.

I was was wondering if this is allowed because after 5 minutes you're allowed to do TJing for objective but you don't have finished the escort part with the tank. This is actually the same for Fueldump (this is on NQ1).

Of course it can be done with the covy + engi combination wich should be fine?

You can fix it:

Fueldump - Script from jay1 which blocking some areas to DJ/TJ  or g_doublejumpheight 0.8(tested on local server) + g_doublejump 1(not jaymod style). Should be no punishment for covy + eng combination

caen2 - There is harder because jump from small window to roof can be done with single jump if someone is experienced, Maybe changing version to Caen (https://et.trackbase.net/map/170/) in normal version there is no small window and after tank destroy the obj wall, small window also getting destroyed.

This is allowed under the current rules. If the defending team doesn't notice the cvops sneaking past them, they're just not defending properly.
