Between those two systems, I'd choose the Desktop. I avoid MSI like the plague. They use crappy FETs on their CPU power delivery. The desktop's mobo is solid AF, plenty of RAM, and you can't go wrong with a 2070. Looks like it comes with a liquid cooler as well. I finally got desktop rolling - Case: Meshify S2 CPU: AMD 3800x MOBO: ASUS ROG STRIX X570 E GPU: NVDIA MSI Gaming Z 2060 PSU: EVGA 850W P2 RAM: Gskil 32GB RAM Hard drives - 6 (all existing and old ones) Finally time to use 5 year old hard drive! Fk yeah! Mouse old - G502 and G5 Monitor: 8 year old and 2nd one is on the way. OS: Ubuntu, Windows server 2019 and Windows 10 Pro. Some fans and monitor and KB is in shipping state. I got temp blue mechanical KB which makes sound like machine gun! So can't wait for my brown one. Slowly, I will pick on some pending work. I was frustrated using wife laptop cos she gets pissed and i get the beating.. but can't do much on that!
