Young Fox Posted February 19, 2020 Author Posted February 19, 2020 I tried what you told me, it’s the Geforce coming out now. I’m doing some games, it looks like it’s getting better, there’s even a game where I shot at 200fps, but there were few people, I will try tomorrow when the server is full Here is the config: However, I do not have the bar as you have on your battery, do you know how to display it please? I'm here to ask for help because after trying several methods, my problem hasn't improved. I thought it came from the server, when many people were connected at the same time, but I can observe a variation of my pings, which range from 40 to 125 ... Connection is also a problem I think, but the most serious , these are my FPS .. If anyone knows how to fix this, it would be great ... Especially since Enemy Territory is an old game, I don't understand why I hang around so much. I have an gtx 1050 ti and no Problem but i use display port. 1 Quote

Try changing from control panel as per your needs - I have modified as per my needs. Try below config - plain and simple - //connection set rate 45000 set cl_maxpackets 125 set cl_timenudge 0 set cl_packetdup 0 //set cl_nodelta 1 set cg_autoRate 1 //pb - Mod anti cheats does much better job pb_cl_disable //download settings set cl_allowdownload 1 set cl_wwwDownload 1 //hunk settings set com_hunkmegs 192 // legacy render 2 - use higher hunk set com_soundmegs 192 //video settings set r_primitives 0 set r_picmip 0 set com_maxpfs 125 // pick u stable FPS set r_fastsky 1 set r_texturebits 16 set r_dynamiclight 1 //resolution //set r_customaspect 1 set r_mode 4 //set r_customwidth 1920 //set r_customheight 1080 set r_fullscreen 1 //gameplay settings set cg_bloodFlash 0 set cg_bloodDamageBlend 0 set cg_bloodTime 0 set cg_bobpitch 0 set cg_bobroll 0 set cg_bobup 0 set cg_bobyaw 0 set cg_brassTime 0 set cg_coronas 0 set cg_drawFPS 1 set cg_enableBreath 0 set cg_runpitch 0 set cg_runroll 0 set cg_showblood 0 set cg_atmosphericEffects 0 set cg_wolfparticles 0 set cg_teamChatTime 4000 set cg_muzzleFlash 0 set cg_pmsounds 1 set cg_autoReload 1 set cg_lagometer 1 set cg_coronafardist 0 set cg_markTime 0 set cg_drawRoundTimer 1 set cg_drawReinforcementTime 1 //mouse - Y axis mouse acceleration set m_pitch 0.014 exec adminbinds.cfg 1 1 Quote

Hope you get yours fixed try to rename et > quake3.exe I heard it helps to identify et as a game for AMD Catalyst or something like that 1 Quote

Young Fox Posted February 19, 2020 Author Posted February 19, 2020 @daredevil Well, in terms of fluidity, it's great, I do not want to get too far, but I think it's already much better, in terms of FPS. Now, the connection is also important there, and that, apart from moving, I don't see a solution ^^ /cl_timenudge does not seem to have an effect, I have the impression that it makes my situation worse, on the contrary Thank you anyway ! Your accuracy will go much higher when you play at stable FPS at 125 or even 144. 1 Quote
Young Fox Posted February 19, 2020 Author Posted February 19, 2020 (edited) Infact it depends on the card, and the number of players, sometimes it stays frozen at 125, other times it varies now between 90 and 125, if I put 200, it goes between 125 and 200 .. For the connection, I tried everything, with different combinations, example: /rate 20000/25000/45000/50000 /macpakcet 120/125 and /maxfps at 60 (front) / 125/150/200 .. But I don't seem to see a difference .. Knowning : I'm with a CPL (connection that goes through the walls) or wifi .. I can't put a cable because I'm not alone at home, and that displeases some xD My cable Ethernet connected to my CPL, is a CAT6 Edited February 19, 2020 by Young Fox Quote

Young Fox Posted February 19, 2020 Author Posted February 19, 2020 I will test tomorrow with the cable to see if there is a difference @RendeL 1 Quote

Rate 30000 and let it ride up with cg_autorate for jaymod. @Barn!e had issues with higher rate as well I believe. Tagging him so he can share his wisdom. For me 40000 is must for smooth lagometer. I set certain value and then let jaymod code handle it up. We did something similar in silent mod as well. Quote
Young Fox Posted February 19, 2020 Author Posted February 19, 2020 Super, thank you for this clarification, I will try .. I'm using the original Enemy Territory, so this will be /cl_maxpackets 100 for me. I'm waiting for @Barn!e's answer in this case Thank you boss, I'll keep you informed Quote
