I've had this problem before I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it worked could also be a config issue but not knowing your settings im not to sure but good luck fixing it.

I actually never install ET in program folder - any software which doesn't require registry stuff - I keep it out side. Then copy paste the installation and it still works fine.
