NHL Playoffs Pool 2016

Last year winner was hobbit, let's see if he can do it again

Here's how it works:

 

We give a rank to each teams from 1 to 16

16 = the team you think has the best chance to win the Stanley Cup

15 = the team you think has the 2nd best chance to win the Stanley Cup

...

1 = the team you think has no chance to win the first round

 

After each round, you are awarded points using the rank you gave to the winning teams

1st round = rank x 1pts

2nd round = rank x 2pts

3rd round = rank x 4pts

final round = rank x 8pts

 

Example:

I give Chicago a rank of 14 and they lose in the 3rd round.

1st round = 14 x 1 = 14 pts

2nd round = 14 x 2 = 28 pts

3rd round = 0 pts

final round = 0 pts

So Chicago gave me 42pts.

 

We do this with every team and add up all the points.

 

You can post your picks here or send them to me by PM if you don't want everyone to copy you before playoffs starts.

I will post everyone's picks together when the playoffs begins.

 

You have until Wednesday April 13 (until the first game starts) to send me your picks or make changes to them.

 

Let's try to get every hockey fan in this pool. The more the merrier!

Ok so to give everyone else a chance to not feel bad because they are last I will join in too
As a first year Hockey fan I think I should atleast see what I already know about hockey (or how good I can  gamble since I mainly watched a team that didn't make the playoffs *wears leafs hat with pride*) I have read alot of articles about hockey but mainly about injuries or the leafs
Some teams I have no clue about and some I might favor too much because I like their jersey (I'm still a woman haha)
Extremely happy the bruins aren't in the play offs also btw
Since noone should agree with how I rank the teams I'll just post my list (edited and added my bracket thingy (look how cool ))

I will based my vote to my Midseason news, and points what i then gave, i add ss where you can see both, my earlie season prediction results and mid-season news ratings, Meow didnt want that i make two pool, so i make my pool from mid-season news, and calculate points myself what i would have got from earlie season prediction

Yeah maybe, Flyear can be wild card, they can get extra boos for playing for Snider, but in other hand it would be interesting to see how well i could get success with my prediction from half season point. Its a lot easier to make prediction when all the teams are clinched in playoffs, and if i can win even someone with prediction what was done several month ago, it would make me a lot happier than making success with prediction what i do now. I put a lot trust to Wild, if Wild win Stanley i probably win this year pool, if they lose in first round i will lost to everyone. Will go with my half season prediction, not see reason to change it, but i would not surprise if i see Flyers in finals from east, that would be my only change if i would do any changes.
