BeoWulf Posted September 25, 2013 Share Posted September 25, 2013 I want to start a COD4 rant thread. I know the clan is all about !!!NO COMPLAINING!!! and what not. But this would be a spot to just come and hurr a bit about pocket spawns or the hypothetical glowing arrow over your head that says shoot me. Nothing official or anything. No formal complaints. No actions taken. Just a good ol (CLEAN) gripe fest about how when I am trying to sneaky flank the enemy, my tard fart team spawns in on me and blows my cover. Its just if you want to complain expect there to be another side to your argument....I mean we have contact us, suggestion section and pm boxes for a reason...we just ask that if you have a complain to be nice and elegant about it. We tend to ignore anyone who calls us names or pretends like they are the ruler of the lands. A rant section will be alright but here is the foreseen problems with it that I can think of right now...: 1. People take things too serious sometimes and an argument may occur causing the thread to be closed. 2. Sometimes when people rant they get out of hand and cause more problems than not. 3. You may regret what you say in the heat of the moment 4. Somethings should be kept personal or not in public! So what I recommend doing is ranting to a friend (Mine are usually Nubi, Mr.pp and KG). This way its not public and you don't regret what you say later. It also means there will be less people to go on a bashin/flaming war with one another. If you do go through with this (i'm not saying you can't), I highly recommend setting down some rules to the thread in general. Like must go along with forum rules, no insulting others opinions, you can agree to someone elses opinions but do not diss their remarks..and so on...and what not... Saying they are an M4 user or something is cool since the M4 user is a tiresome and ubiquitous creature (it is a really easy weapon to use efficiently). But I am more interested in some wonkey core mechanics like how the DEagle can be used to snipe, or the thirty inch range of the shot gun or how I am an elite solder who cant run more than 20 steps before needing a nap and how I decide to stop running at the worst spot or how my nade ricocheted off a lamppost and returned itself to my dopy feet.Someone can hop onto any thread in the heat of the mo and make a fool of themselves. We here would be all no names and no responses apart from an agreement or contribution. I would be cool if someone said there was some rapscallion sitting behind a rock in creek camping the top of the finger and the valleys. I think all "HA! That was me. I was fannying about there." I already mentioned it, but the sneaky flank spawnie bull donkey nonsense the server likes to do. I am all "gonna flank these fools" and take down their defenses. In the process of getting around, the server decides to spawn captain tard fart and his LMG right next to me, within groping distance of the enemy backside. The good captain takes off shooting at his shadow just as the enemy get a UAV. Well done I think and just opt to Ben Kenobi myself when the enemy team goes blood crazy. Owned Posted September 26, 2013 Share Posted September 26, 2013 no offense, but most of the things you are currently complaining about are just how the game mechanics are like, nade bounce from a lightpole? bad luck, aim better next time and you should be all good. spawning? has been a continueing issue with the current Cod engine that is being used for some of their newer games aswell. Issues with guns, that is once more what the game is like, the desert eagle is supposed to be a 50. cal handgun (same as the barrett sniper rifle) explaining the sniping capability, although this isnt the issue with softcore nor promod. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I sit at the top of the hill behind one of the 4 rocks. I get a good view of everything, apart from the approach from the cave. I hope that my team covers the cave and the approach, but that doenst happen too often. Some guys do a pretty good job when they are in. The top of the hill, the side valley and the cave are the big approaches, but some just want to pitch a tent behind the small house and cover the approach to nothing. Expect Speed to butt in soon with some sort of "witty" reply. Oh! You sit at the bottom? I sit at the top of the hill behind one of the 4 rocks. I get a good view of everything, apart from the approach from the cave. I hope that my team covers the cave and the approach, but that doenst happen too often. Some guys do a pretty good job when they are in. Well, I say pah, but again, there are some cats who are really good at covering some one's six, provideing cover fire or smoking nadeing a cross fire. But they are very few. I cry sometimes when I watch my team mate walk past my body and past the guy who killed me, as if my team mate is on a very exciteing nature hike. Or when I get waxed in a campy spot, and another team mate comes walks up onto my dead body and is all "what's going on .. hurk dead." Good work guy. Glad you just got double tapped in the 'tach. Open the taps boss, that is what this place is for. But I am guilty of this one. I have a silent ak with stopping power. This.... Really gets on my nerves... I have to say tho even with my AK class it doesn't have an attachment but I run UAV on it and so I am fine until I start shooting which isn't until I get into the enemies base.
