My first web-check for the distance from my city to Canada said "1,431 mi " !!! 😮 I know that I am closer to Mexico than to Canada, but then I noticed the map. That is my distance to the center of Canda! My driving distance to Vancouver is "938 miles / 1,510 km". Now I will try Mexico ... Same Thing! My driving time to the center of Mexico would be 30 hours over a distance of 1852 miles / 2981 km . The distance from here to Tijuana is 475 miles / 764 km. The distances to the borders is what I was thinking of, not to the centers of the countries!
