Hallo peeps! I have been working entirely too much as of late, and then when I sat down to enjoy a bit of my holy and most sacred Wolfenstein ET, I find that my client, upon reaching the main screen, goes all stuttery and my mouse freezes for long laggy periods (unplayable, can't even click things consistently) and I have to alt+tab and shut it down. I miss the =F|A=MILY! Can anyone offer wisdom? Signed, A grateful-in-advance absence of degrees in Kelvin.

I'm downloading the game again... i wanted ask the ping limit? of our server, cuz as the server is from the US and as southamerican player ping suck at my country.. An extra info the last time i played (few months ago the server didn't let me play cuz of ping). (edited topic title)

Score one for AMD's take on variable refresh technology: its FreeSync standard, currently only available via DisplayPort, will begin supporting HDMI in early 2016. That gives AMD a leg up over Nvidia's proprietary G-Sync tech, which is still DisplayPort-exclusive (although there are now G-Sync monitors with HDMI ports, the variable refresh rate mode only works with DisplayPort). AMD says that "FreeSync through HDMI will be supported on all AMD APUs and GPUs that already support FreeSync via DisplayPort, and AMD is working with ecosystem partners including LG, Samsung and Acer to deliver FreeSync over HDMI-compatible displays." That means existing FreeSync monitors won't magically start supporting variable refresh over HDMI, so you'll have to wait a few months to get a new monitor if you're looking for FreeSync support over HDMI. Another new release: the Lenovo Y700 is the first gaming laptop to incorporate a FreeSync display. AMD also announced high dynamic range (HDR) compatibility today. HDR panels have a brightness between 600-1,200cd/m2, with the industry aiming at 2,000. They also have contrast ratios that are supposed to mirror human sensitivity, and they have athe Rec.2020 color gamut that produces over 1 billion colors at 10 bits per color. Basically, better brightness, better contrast, and more colors that will provide a better looking image. Consumer monitors supporting HDR are expected to be available in the second half of 2016. Existing Radeon R9 300 Series GPUs will be compatible with these displays in 2016 for gaming, while the company's 2016 GPUs will support both gaming and movies. Hey guys, I got GS-a550 Dynamic headphones, but when I connect it to pc I just hear bips on the headphones.. when I enter ET the volume still comes from the speakers Any idea ?

Just wanted to post a fresh topic pertaining to the status of COD4 #3 and any lag issues, or re-boot requests. I may be way off as to doing such here. But, since I couldn't readily/easily find a place to report the current lag on the Beginners server, I thought I'd add a topic for the next guy to find and add-on to... 7/29/15 @7pm lag with constant connection interruptions, may need a server reboot I leave for a trip tomorrow, so I'll see yall on Monday ...

Hi, I'm a Mac user (Version: 10.5.8 Processor: Dual 1.25 GHz PowerPC G4 1 MB L3 cache per processor Memory: 2 GB DDR SDRAM) I just started playing ET and I don't know much. I've been able to play on vanilla servers, but servers with mods are too confusing for me. I found out I was playing with no one except bots (which freaked me out) so I looked for a still active group of players and found the Fearless Assassins. Now I downloaded Jaymod and SilEnT mod but I don't really know what to do with them, I just saw that they popped up in my Wolfenstein ET folder so I left it there and didn't touch it. Then, I attempted to join a F|A server, and the loading was fine until it said "Awaiting Gamstate..." Then, after about 5 seconds, it crashed saying "Wolfenstein cannot continue: VM_create on UI failed." Can someone help please! I'm really new to this whole mod thing and I'm not much of a computer gamer. Please be specific because I take things very literally in something as confusing as this to me. If there is anymore info I need to provide, I will try to provide it.

I have had problems with my ISP but before I go and start blaming them I want to find out if my problem is on their hands or mine and I have a problem connecting to my internet which is an intermittent issue. When I close my laptop and it "shuts down" and then I open it up to log into my laptop and it takes me to my desktop I am not connected to the internet. I then have to right click on the network icon in the task bar and hit "diagnose connection problems". It then finds and corrects the network issue and I am connected. I have an AT&T U-Verse router and I connect with a cord straight to my router. I want to find out why it keeps making me fix a problem in order to connect and not just stay connected. Wifi is off, Is this a problem with ISP connection to the router or is it something I can change on my own?

Just and FYI Jay1 just crashed on oasis map as of time now. Reconnected server was still running but there were 4 bots on the teams and like a bunch people re connecting.

AMD to Drop Support for Pre-HD 5000 GPUs with Catalyst 12.7 AMD will conclude driver updates for pre-Evergreen, or pre-Radeon HD 5000 (that's HD 2000, HD 3000, and HD 4000) series GPUs, starting this summer. The change could take effect with Catalyst 12.7 (around July). Users of these older GPUs can use the (then) latest driver (Catalyst 12.6) to run their older DirectX 10/10.1 graphics cards. The elimination of pre-Evergreen GPUs could also slim down the driver package a bit, in terms of file-size. source

The only buttons that work in game are mouse1 and mouse2. With my prior mouse I used selfkill for mouse3, and I have a few more buttons with this mouse. I am guessing that it is mouse4 and mouse5. I have used the cd that came with it to install the drivers and the software that is required, but I still cant get the buttons (mouse3-mouse5) to work ingame without them using their microsoft capabilities. I have tried to set them to disabled and other settings inside the software that is used to configure the mouse and still nothing works.., Any ideas?
