@daredevil moved a number of USA-located ET, INS and DOI servers to a new machine last Tuesday, the 13th of November. He set up the new Domain Name Server IPs on Wednesday, the 14th. They are all running good today, Thursday. 😄 He actually copied the server software and records from the old machine to the new one. The old servers will continue running until the machine lease is up, in a few days. The old servers may still show up in ET Browsers until then. You should use the Domain Names to connect to the changed servers. I always use this method because while those names never change, but the IPs do sometimes. Jay#2 /connect jay2.clan-fa.com Silent#1 /connect silent1.clan-fa.com NQ#2 /connect NQ2.clan-fa.com In the 2.6b and the ETL Server Browsers, you may see duplicate FA names for some servers. The same-named servers often show different maps running, BUT both twins show the same population! That will make it hard for players to join the "new server" instead of the old one. Here is a copy of the old and new IPs for the affected servers, from Daredevil Below is an image of 'duplicate servers' captured by @madjimmie some 6 hours ago. The Silent#1 and "#2 XPSAVE" (Jay#2) "twins" show the same names, number of players and pings, but different maps. That 'same number of players' will be a problem for some joiners. This will all get back to normal when the old machine's lease expires, and the old servers disappear from the browsers.

We are happy to announce our new Staff members from Beg1 and from NQ servers, @Ashuyai and @TomekKromek! On behalf of the FA management, we would like to congratulate and thank you for your services on the No Quarter and Beginners 1 a.k.a Jay 3 servers. @Ashuyai became a main pillar, always available to help, he´s trustful, shows a lot of maturity, skills to handle conflict situations, he cares about his recruits, creates a great atmosphere, is a respected clan member around servers, it´s good to have him up to management team. @TomekKromek has been around for many years, quickly establishing himself as one of the technical pillars of NQ1 who manages the server’s map rotation and, most recently, advanced to Event team lead. His invaluable contributions include testing maps, creating map scripts, and repairing waypoints issues and he learned these things without hesitation by himself to fix problems which are plaguing our admins on the daily. As he wants to realise even more changes and continue improving the server, we hope to implement his skillset better within the realm of a Staff position with the explicit focus on the technical side of things. I would like to ask you to wait a bit until @daredevil sets your forum groups. Welcome and congrats to both!

This Monday, the 28th of October, 2024, marks the 16th anniversary of the founding of the FA Clan by The Founders, @daredevil, @RainierWolfcastle and @JoeDirt in 2008. The calendar entry : Contains a link to DD's news announcement in 2017: We have seen the years go by with Triumph and Tragedy, along with "WTFs?", "OMGs!" and a lot of "well that was fun, fun, fun"! 😄 SPEAK OF THE DEVIL! As I was writing this topic, a spambot made a post that I had to remove from public view and had to ban the poster's account. We have blocked 10s of thousands of such pests over the years, saving our readers al lot of time and trouble. 😄 Yes, @yaku, it is still Monday here, so I did get this announcement "done in time". 😄

We have launched our official Fearless Assassins Instagram. Its also linked to our Facebook. Everyone is free to join to our Instagram and Facebook followers. We will post week funniest screenshot from our servers to FB and Insta. If you want your gaming video added to our Instagram/Facebook, you can send in here short 1 minute videos. Videos what have got most "likes" can be posted to Instagram/facebook. We like to post week best killer and most headshots to Insta/FB. So you can post in this topic screenshots of your stats and if it's highest of the week it will be posted to Instagram/Facebook. We will use your gaming alias when we post best killers, members can get they Instagram profile tagged too. We can post members+ non-gaming videos and photos, example, members meetings, members birthdays, members cars/food etc... You can post those in here too and then once/twice per week we can post those to Insta/FB stories. News Welcome our newest Recruiter and our newest Staff member

(Parts of this section are auto-generated with @mraw435AI) I am pleased to announce the promotions of Yaku to Staff and Ashuyai to Recruiter! Whichever F|A server you play on, you have likely run into Yaku at some point. Yaku has been able to help F|A in multiple areas over the years and has played an instrumental role in helping with the F|A ETL servers. He has been a guiding force for many applicants and Trials as they go through the recruiting process and get to learn how F|A operates. Most importantly, he is ready to spark up a conversation with any new player, regular, or admin and bring welcoming presence to every server he joins. A personal note: Yaku originated from NQ1 and I've been closely watching his development in this clan over the years. It wasn't a straightforward nor easy road, but he preserved and steadily became a true and trusted cornerstone of our admin team. He cares deeply about the clan as a whole and its members as individuals (I'm happy I don't receive the storm of Discord notifications he does) and I'm sure he helped a great number of players experiencing the joy of being in this clan and contributing to its success. Ashuyai is another excellent member who brings a wonderful atmosphere to every server he joins. Ashuyai has stepped up and hosted previous gamedays on Beg2 and has been extremely helpful in populating servers. We believe Ashuyai will continue to assist applicants and trials as they get to know the F|A community! A personal note: I've only met Ashuyai recently on NQ1 and Discord and it's definitely a lot of fun playing with him. We appreciate what you both have done so far and are positive you will continue to be an influential admin within Fearless Assassins. We started our community back in 2008 on this day. It does seems like years have passed by but when sometimes I join the servers, I feel it’s all same when I see familiar faces on the server. We are happy that we started the community back in 2008 because if we didn’t then we wouldn’t be able to know you people. It has been blast gaming with you people throughout all this years. Sometimes I miss my friends who have been playing with us since 2008 or even before. I do miss seeing some old friends who used to play on our servers back in the days. I had never ever though that I will miss people whom I hardly new in real life even after so many years. All I want to say is this gaming community has given me so much that even after so many years, I still remember my friends and miss them. Without all life would have been bit boring, I would say. People say it’s just a game but for some reason I feel it’s just not a game. It’s a place where I made new friends, learn new things and become patient over the period of time. It has become part of my life. On this day, I would like to say thanks to every donor who donated money for paying the bills, time and experience making this community worth loving for. Without donations it would be real hard to manage the bills and I still wish more people would donate rather than just few donating high amounts. Only 2$/month aka 20$ one time donation is not much to ask when you are enjoying 24*7 on our servers since 2008! It’s easier to be leader in the pack but it’s much harder to create the pack and then lead it. I would like to thank you our leaders, co-leaders, staff members, recruiting team and members including trial members to make all this things easier. We all together have successfully created a gaming place where players are enjoying playing on our servers rather than worrying about cheaters or trouble makers. Over the period of time you all together have changed this place from one gaming clan to one family. We are happy that we started Fearless Assassins back in 2008 and we are still part of it. We are hoping that we will be here still playing with you people and with your kids. We will be waiting for the days when we would be replaced by our Jr. members. So, where did you make the most frags or where did you win the map the most? It's your opinion, and based on that, we want to elect the "Map Of The Year 2021" (MOTY21). How can I participate?
