Considering that there's a second petition going with over 1milion of signs already towards a second referendum, god knows if this wont be repeated again, as there's simply too much at stake for something like that go thro it.

the rich and those who trade much in EU have benefits from it same for the policics more people more power

The more rich you are, the more rich you will be. That is how EU works for you if you belong to the well fare part of it. Then you dont care.

They cut the expense from the ppl it affects the most - the poor and lately even from the middle classed. This is just an example from Finland.

Who creates your jobs? the poor? people complaining about a regressive system while a progressive system destroys your economy even more...

how I see a progression (equalization):

the rich loose money -> less investments -> less jobs created + stagnation

the poor gain money -> more saving -> stagnation

the poor will loose jobs because suddenly there arent enough jobs in the country anymore -> they will try to get money from the rich (progression) because they themselves have so little -> start from step 1

not to mention the stagnation that comes from both sides.

in short

progression:  short term     long term

poor               good             bad

rich                bad               bad

regression:    short term     long term

poor              bad               good

rich               good              good

well, this is my perspective at least, but Im only barely legal to vote so I havent really deepened myself enough on the subject :P

small note:

to those quoted: I just quoted you because you said these exact words, not because I disagree with your whole post

A higher personal income of rich people wont increase the amount of jobs; yet a higher income for poor people will increase their ability to buy basic / luxury products.

It has to be a ballance..fine to have job creators(wealthy)....minimum wages have to be at a level so that alot of people (working poor) will no longer qualify for so much assistance(money) this will create more spending by middle classes because all wages will rise a little in kind..you can't pay workers so low they cannot spend..mostly we live in a consumer economy..we spend and the wealthy make money from our spending...... or you can force the poorest to steal because no jobs because no spending or assistance..build more jails..costing more that fixing the issues..and so it continues..

I just signed the petition for putting up a referendum here in Finland for leaving the EU, enough damage is done already by the "union".

Thank god you are here to let me know everything I know about international trade, and that economists such as those at Durham University who supported leave and worked to show how the government lied about the effect of leaving, is just lies and we are all just racists. And the fact my desire to leave that I adopted 15 years ago before all these immigration issues (and have never considered during the vote) is just me secretly being racist as well.

You are clearly much more informed than these racists are, and me, and plenty of academics who were not on the remain side.

Cause there wont be immigration issues when you leave?

So if the EU wouldn't exist you would want to close you borders, yes? if every country does this these refugees have nowhere to go, and some countries where they could go would be having alot of trouble.

But hey, as long as its someone else's problem you wouldn't lift a finger.

I dont know how to answer this, have you quoted the wrong person?

The entire point of my post was how I didnt think about immigration during this, it was not a part of my decision and never has been, and I have no problem with immigration.

So you look past the + sides of the Eu and only look at the negatives?

The immigration crisis can only be solved as a union; also countries need the EU market.

And those that have lied are the politician who were for leave; they already said they can't live up to the 2 center promises of their campaign. And this is 2 days after the vote.

True what I read in posts here though, nationalists going all-out in the Netherlands hiring mentally challenged black people to scold national celebrations that can in some twisted way be related to slavery or whatever. Thus, the creation of more racism against black people.

I do hope the remaining countries realize that being in a Union or Zone or something similar causes economical dependence and thus a reason to not start a war.

Well I will put a quick overview of a small part of what my side is here and leave it at that - we disagree, so that is all I can do.

No union is needed for the immigration crisis; otherwise it will never be solved until the entire planet is in one. Any and all countries can work together on immigration, union or not is irrelevant. We already work with non EU countries closely on immigration/asylum and no union has ever been needed for that.

The argument for leaving is not just about the plus sides of the EU or negative sides, it is about whether those plus sides are better than the equivalent situation would be if not in the EU, and whether those negative sides are solved. I believe most of the negatives will be solved (not all just by leaving, but greater control will at least mean they are the UKs problems to solve and work on), and most of the plus sides will at least be the same, and many likely better. So I can completely agree that the EU is not all bad, but it doesn’t change the fact I want to leave and believe the evidence shows it is the better choice.

Our trade with non EU countries has been rising faster than trade to the EU for over a decade meaning that our EU trade is now 44% proportionally and dropping every year, while non EU trade is rising. The EU only accounts for 12% of our GDP.

Countries dont need to be members for access. The UK will still have complete access to the EU market no matter what, as every EU country is a member of the WTO. The whole world has access the EU market in this way. And given that as far as I know the EU trades more to the UK than the UK trades to the EU, if they don’t do a deal it will cost EU countries more than the UK.

It seems unlikely there will be problems getting a good trade deal unless they want to hurt themselves more, and even if there is not it will just be standard WTO trading as a result (as I said, worse for the EU than the UK).

Some economists who are for leaving put together an interesting pamphlet on the British economy and the EU, it is worth a read if anyone wants to see another view on the subject.
