Format - 

Add Map -> Map name  + URL to download the map - if not in our download section, upload and share URL.
Remove map -> Map name

 

Can provide multiple add/remove maps in same post.

I don't favor much maps, but  bba map was pretty simple and good map .  

It got removed?? That's my favorite map. Seems like all the maps people want to remove are the ones i play the best

Adlernest and frostbite, don't remove 2 very popular maps. It is small yes, but adlernest is maxed out at 40 players and frostbite at 44. Both maps can handle those numbers.

 

I agree with removing capuzzo - for now.

Yeah, Warmissle is horrible. Capuzzo is fine. Not everyone lags and it's a fun map, challenging and has a lot of great spots for duels, sniping, etc.

is the first time I say my opinion on the maps of Jay1, but I have to do this night now Italian, I entered while I usually can play, the lagometer was full of yellow triangles, total lag did not come out the shots, then reset modem 3 times, even at the factory I did not solve anything, I turned off the PC and went to sleep, it never happened 4 days I streamed, and even if I want to play during this lag, you have added some map that has bugs surely it caused all or almost all lag.
My suggestion is this, since I have also managed servers in the past and I know the problem, to understand which map causes the problem, you have to go back in time, remembering the maps added to the last modification, removing them all and adding 1 to the Once this is the only way, I have not been able to play decently on jay1 for 2 weeks. I run ET from Italy.
I want to add, that the giant maps, and never seen on a server, for many players who love to play for the goal
they are ugly and do not understand the goal.
Here too I have an advice and I could contribute being free 24 hours a day:
you have to insert video tutorials in the forum to teach people the maps you want to insert;
example:
 I create my game on the map designated register the demo doing the engineer I follow the objectives, then I create the movie, and so for all the maps, then you create a section of the forum dedicated to the tutors of all the maps so the guys to lost time can view them quietly as a movie, and then they can give their like or unlike
directly to the video on the forum, in order to obtain a statistics of the global votes, which would also help the choice of the mapcycle.
I'm available to create video tutorials, but I need a collaborator to produce spoken audio in English.
It would be nice, it is not simple, it takes time and dedication, but eventually it produces quality and would increase the gratification of the people of ET.

I would like to add another opinion and I hope no one is offended

instead of having 64-player servers
it would be smarter to cut in half or nearly, creating an instance of age and more on the same server machine

I see 3 Jaymod servers
60 players
58 (+ 6) players
51 players
total 163 players + 6 private slots
the maximum number of players could be changed to 40
distributing players on 4 servers instead of 3

40 (+3)
40 (+2)
40 (+2)
40 (+2)

 

with this method we would get it
mapcycle smaller
less maps on 1 server = (more fluid servers)
more possibilities to play liked maps

example
1 server with small maps
1 server with large maps
1 server with voting enabled (2 options for small maps and large maps)
1 small / large mixed server (change of mapcycle every week)

Keep: Venice, Caen, Capuzzo, Fuel Depot, Fuel Dump

Remove: Minas (too long overall and too much walking from spawn to action😁 ), Marrakech, Radar, Oasis

Just no to Fuel Depot, Through all the rotation changes, that POS map never gets a break. It's time to give that one a rest

What, Warmissile is one of the best maps I have seen lately, I always play as allies and always win without getting past first stage, just get covie and a uniform and magic occurs.

I like it because it is so easy to rush map (after 5 min obviously), axis don't even know what happened when map ends. :D

My eternal job is to find out new ways to rush map and search for alternative routes to the main objective. xD

 

Now, with suggestions

 

Add: would also like to suggest adding Loffy's Tram, long time ago I used to play that map in an NQ server, it is a very big map that would be suited for the needs of Jay1, lots of objectives, plus it is kinda similar to the tram map from RTCW.

 

Remove: Capuzzo, my reasons are much the same as other guys, plus I can't rush it, because objectives are locked till scripted moments :(

These may be my main reasons to remove capuzzo, sorry for double post, posting on Android is kinda difficult and buggy. :(
