its been on our servers before...i know on jay2 it wasnt liked so much.

I remember a huge chokepoint near the final axis spawn and it was on a much smaller server than FA, I don't think it's playable in normal conditions...

Its at -200 now. Tough I must say its not that much of a server killer, some people leave but a lot stay. But it is widely disliked indeed.

We need to remove UJE 00 ASAP. 

Some players abuse of the ceremony side quest and some spend their time at the bar which breaks the rule 24 of our wiki being : 

1. Team Play is required. Don't be useless when your team is losing or not able to advance in the map.

A good example of it are the recent incidents that happened between Lawliet, @boki, MikeHunt and filth pig (I'm also including the incident between me and Lawliet). I can also recall a day when the map went silent 3 times in a row, after some people repeatedly did the ceremony. Some players do get frustrated when such thing happen, as not hearing a thing for a whole minute (maybe 2, not sure) which can negatively impact the gaming experience of our regulars, admins and newbies. @SEpI was also there when that heppened and can agree with me.

 

I won't be very original with my map suggestion for the replacement, you probably guessed it after the amount of times I spammed it on this channel ! 😅

My 2 cents on the topic since I was - rightfully so - prevented from commenting on the other thread:

I don't understand why the same people try to do the ceremony over and over again: it is not out of respect for a dead person that they do it, they don't like the map/are bored playing it and it's totally fine. Move to spec and wait till the map is over as many others do when they don't like the map. If one really likes the ceremony, they can host a private server and perform it there. I know it's a map feature but abusing it isn't cool for other people. It creates imbalance and a feeling of 2 games happening at once and uncertainty arises: is it okay for me to go there and kill the enemies? If I apply the same logic as mikehunt, killing enemies is part of every ET map so why would I refrain from doing so in this instance?  

 

Either completely forbid players to perform the ceremony at any moment or set a minimum of players so that the burden of a few players performing it isn't too heavy on the team and the flow of the game. If you have to replace it, I'll suggest once again INDUSTRY2. PLEASE.
