Can we please get rid of the bots on Jay 2 already?

Let's face it, most people want to play for the allies.  Which is why I always choose Axis.  Well, the Axis uniforms are cooler and the Tommy guns annoy me.  But anyways, I've seen it as bad as 5 people and 5 bots Axis vs. 10 people Allies.  It makes a map like Haunted Mansion useless. 

 

Jay 2 had plenty of live players before the bots started a few months ago.  Nowadays, I find myself disconnecting because of the disproportionate amount of bots.  Please get rid of them.

I understand what you're talking about. I too am getting tired of all the bots, but @ the same time they are there so that the server looks active (I would guess). Whenever I am on J2 I do my best to even up the teams. Asking ppl to switch teams has become 2nd nature for me when I'm there. Seems like nobody cares that they are shooting it up against a bunch of bots. Funny huh? Not for that 1 or 2 dudes that are on the weaker team getting owned.

Yep, the amount of bots is too damn high. On every server imo. If there are 8 or 10 players on the server I see no reason to put 10 or 12 bots on aditionally, they just block spawns, classes, airstrikes, artillery and so on...And I think a lot of players are playing for that rating stuff, with bots on rating is refused or? Few bots to circumvent "empty server" filters are understandable but why so many or why bots at all?

 

Mentioned it in another post already, it's nice that you guys provide a silent mod server in europe which is sadly very little populated (F|A BEGINNERS #2 XPS) but with over 30 bots on it's ridiculous, you can't even get out of some spawns. Simply leaving the Old City spawn at Oasis with 15 shoving bots around you can take 10 seconds

Invite your friends and bots will leave one by one. I will not go into explaining why so many bots, use search to find old thread.

I have to agree that firstly bots are annoying taking their smoke brake in front of spawn exits and also when I join server it has 4 vs 4 and only then starts to build up quietly and I guess its not for bots but for human players. 8 vs 8 bots would be enough as they don´t tangle in the way so much and in the other hand 8 vs 8 players tend to get full more quickly than 10 vs 10. Also players would think then that there are only 1 bot in every team, when some1 joins its all human players. With 3 more bots they would just disconnect as its more hopless too see server free of bots. At least I see it in jay2 this way.

Bots are good to have for when less people are on then when the server gets more people the bots will leave. i think the bots are good to have

The only problem I have with Bots are they are a bunch of cheats...
Other than that they make me look like a pro so.....

Bots are fine.

The real issue is that players keep joining the strongest team which is really sad. The foregone conclusion is : unfair teams :/

Luckily few players will switch (here CKA, after having his "Wicked Sick" award ofc )

 

Then new players will join and help.

 

 

But the worst here is that you have players with admin levels who do not set a good example. They should switch or encourage players to do so.

 

Coming into the spawn, full of adrenaline to kill targets that barely move and react. Wow, I tip my hat off to these gutsy players.

 

They should keep in mind this(from your Wiki).

 

 

Only players with balls will enjoy to rape rapers, rather then raping newbies.

 

I do not mind playing with Brad, Halfwit, Nohope and Chimichanga. They are a bunch of good guys doing their job.

 

I like challenges but please Jay#2 players, press TAB.

 

Let's even up the teams and have fair games. This is my wish.

Then anyone on the server that can use the !putteam command should not hesitate to even the teams. I do that on jay2 when i see things like you just shown.

bots are ok too make server more full and attract people but when it is eg 7vs7 there are still bots on, there are just too many (until 10vs10 i believe bots keep joining)

As i said ... send em to spec .... i do it when i am there and anyone with a level 4 can do it.

In jay2 you can´t put bots to spec and this is not under question, but the amount is too much, 10 vs 10. Also the more bots the more players can stack in one team.

 

And yes if any admin is present then players with level are free to move human players to even up. Or even better if they´d apply
