Arag_Azgit Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 (edited) ))))))))) Well, maybe nobody knows that we Czech are the No. 1 Beer Consumers all the world - basic statistics. Second ones are Bavarians with really significant reserve:) Whats Missing - Larger breweries ------------------------ Czech- Pilsner Urquell (12°) Budweisser Budvar (12°not 10°) Staropramen (lager 12° not "on tap" bear) Velkopopovicky Kozel (11°medium) Gambrinus (12° lager not 10°) Radegast Polish- Lech Zywiec German- JW Augustiner (from Munchen) Slovak- Zlaty Bazant UK/Australia- hmmmm I like Carlsberg, in can then cheap but tolerable Carling, Fosters French- Kronenbourg Holland/Belgium- Stella Artois, Jupiler, Breda Smaller Breweries ............................... Really a lot of Czech ones, Červený drak, Černý drak, Master, Bernard (non-pasteurised), Ferdinand, Svijany, Černá Hora (Páter - non-pasteurised, Kvasar 14° - special with added honey, non-pasteurised, Black Hill...), Flekovský ležák (non-filtered special beer for fanous Prague pub), Cheb - Primátor Double (24° beer whats quite strong one )), Pernštejn Porter (Bottom-fermented whats unusual for Czech bears), Pegas lager 12°on Krystal 12°, Regent Black 11°or President 14° - whats is the best directly in brewery pub in Trebon, South Bohemia, Baron Trenck made for Starobrno Brewery.... and many others. !!! WHAT NEVER TO DRINK !!! Staropramen pale 10° - disgusting filthy water in most pubs Litovel - almost everything Dačické pivo - not even good for boots cleaning Samson pale - disgusting All from production off Platan Brewery - Platan, Klasik, Primus.... disgusting awful vomits Well... thats from my side shortly to beer problematics Edited October 9, 2011 by Arag_Azgit Quote
Nielsvd Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Personally, I prefer Grolsch, or Guiness (How can that NOT be in the list haha). Palm from the tap is also very good, but it drinks away quite easily, like Heineken! Heineken, doesn't taste bad, but it's quite watery imo... It's great 'party beer' though : 3 1 Quote

liquid72 Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 I had to vote for Heineken, there was no option for V.B, Victoria Bitter, the best beer in Australia, if you don't like this brew, your unaustralian... lol. Quote
NoGooD Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 cmon guys no love for chimay?? i enjoy all kinds of beer but chimay blue is king hands down:) Right on Stryder. Chimay Grand Reserve is one of my favorites, but if you haven't tried any brews from Unibrou I'd suggest giving them a try. A few of them are on par with Chimay Overall most Belgium's and german beers are some of the best that I've tried. There are quite a few American micros that are getting quite good as well. 1 Quote
