Vice86 Posted February 23, 2022 Posted February 23, 2022 (edited) A few german examples i absolutely prefer over anything else. My recommendation for hot Summer days Memminger Keller Pils, the herbs are perfectly balanced to its value of bitterness, without beeing to heavy. Real good for recuperation after working outside in the sun. Kaiser's Schubart-Dunkel. As a dark beer recommendation. Perfect for family Festivals like Christmas or easter. I expirienced it popular on all sorts of people. Its very lieblich/lovely, but not too soft like heineken or corona. Those beers are water in contrary to this. Gruibinger Brunnenbier. My favorite allrounder. Its naturtrüb, which means not filtered. Tastes in the direction like an export beer, but still different. It has a very unique taste balance tough. Very lovely, and best served cold. And last but not least, Andechser Weisbier, as the ultimate wheat beer expirience. Its a bit different and tastes a bit metallic, which comes from the original copperkegs. They use them instead of the comercial stainless steel kegs, which makes it more authentic imo. The brewery tour starts at april again ? Edited February 23, 2022 by Vice86 1 Quote

oldhoff Posted December 12, 2025 Posted December 12, 2025 (edited) Haven't tried most of the beers that are on the poll, but I like Duvel , I like my beer strong. Nevertheless, I usually just drink cheap chilean beer. In the past 10 or 15 years chilean beer market has improved, so now we have a couple good craftsman beerwhich are very good: Tübinger and Kross, specially. I recommend 'em, if you come across any of those. Edited December 12, 2025 by oldhoff 1 Quote
