i just installed that crap update also . an now my pc says my windows isnt activated an no matter what i do it wont activate.  thought i had it fixed last nite but nope.sfc scan doesnt show any problems.  all i did last nite was logged into  my Microsoft account and it went away ..now its back . 

 

so i just rolled that  update back .grrrr now its fine.

Huh! I never had THAT happen before. Are you in the Beta testers group? I was for awhile but now only the RC group

no im in no tester group . but a search shows its a microsoft issue with tons a people having same problem!

From what I understand best practice is to log into your MS account before a major update, then do the update, so it syncs up your hardware on file.  I have only had this issue changing too much hardware.

3. Conflicts with Easy Anti-Cheat 

4. Blue screens when clashing with certain drivers/hardware

7. Network file sharing issues (thankfully no issues on my end with this one)

8. Printer issues connected with HP, Canon and Brother

A better way is using Christ Titus Tech's update tool. It will update everything but you can also use it to install programs and utilities, freeze updates, remove bloatware and Windows programs that collect data, etc

 

The Ultimate Windows Utility

 

Used in Windows Power Shell, the command is 

iwr -useb https://christitus.com/win | iex

ive tried this new update everyway possible . and i still end up with activation key error. tells me to buy a new key. ive also tried every cmd prompt fix  and all the fixes they say work and nope .so fricken stupid.

if you go from win 10 or win 11  to win 11 pro , then you need a new key

I'd be bitter about this.  Likely the solution is to dish out $20 and buy a new key at one of those online sites.  Sucks, but at some point you just need to move on.

its a secret im not telling.lol 

 

i had bought a w11 cd and key but  imout of pc loop so when i built this one i realized no cd drivers so . it was useless i had to dl to a thumbdrive and buy new key cuz my one with cd didnt work .lol so i cleaned out my email and my dumbass deleted my info for the digital one.  so i found my cd and key  and used that one worked like a champ .lol
