Hi all !

I'm here to ask for help because after trying several methods, my problem hasn't improved.

I thought it came from the server, when many people were connected at the same time, but I can observe a variation of my pings, which range from 40 to 125 ... Connection is also a problem I think, but the most serious , these are my FPS ..

If anyone knows how to fix this, it would be great ... Especially since Enemy Territory is an old game, I don't understand why I hang around so much.

My configs:

PC:

Predator Helios 300 -

All that is "decorative" (effect, blood, etc.) : Off

Quality at a minimum in general...

I'm putting a little clip for you so you can see what I see at stake.

Everything is jerky ...

What is weird is that in the "Replay" mode, all these lags are no longer there.

Do you think there is a solution? Or do I just have a crappy PC ..? ^^

Thank you,

Fox.

I have the same with the fps, always changing. But I think that is just because of the maps you are playing, the smoke, airstrikes, etc

So linked to performance ..
Weird all the same, the game is old and the GTX is not supposed to be bad, the PC cost me 1400 euros :p
No solutions?

I would say is an combination of graphics card, cpu and ram.

In my case everything sucks 😂

I just upgraded the graphics card, now most of the time I have 125fps, but not always, if there is too much going on on the map it drops to around 75fps.

But my pc is very old, probably around 13 years old. 😂

Lol it must not be simple actually 😛 @dasp

No, have nothing, I'm already in r_primitives 2 .. but thank you ! @MikeSlayer

But I think I found, on the window of application parameters, instead of OBS studio, I put Wolfenstein Enemy territory, since, I have the impression that I play at slow speed ^^

The only remaining problem is that now I'm constantly stuck at 60fps, not 125 .. if someone has an idea, I'm interested 😛

Are you recording directly via obs while you play?

@MikeSlayer Indeed, it was horizontal synchronization :)

It’s okay, I’m turning at 125 fps. Much smoother I have the impression.

I’m waiting to see in the next few days if it still works, thank you for your help in any case!

@w1cx No, I record with Geforce Experience, OBS studio is only used for record my PC screen, or if I ever want to stream :)

I don't know why it was applied in the nvidia parameters, now it's ET :)

Check your last valid render and make sure your laptop if laptop, it is set to performance in power option. Many times ET wouldn't use dedicated GPU if available and will use CPU's GPU. Share your config.

Excuse me for my incompetence in the field, But I will try to answer, sometimes it will be with a question in return ..

That is to say? Is it in ET? What exactly should I do?

My PC is a laptop yes, its name even starts with "LAPTOP -....."

It's This one :

Otherwise, I did not understand what I should do 😛

How do you check this please?

Okay, but what part of the config? System information or my settings?

Thank you,

Fox.

After above settings -

Just FYI - Their are people/players who use other people config and use ATI settings while they have Nvidia.. at least u are not doing that lol  😂
