Ok, for all of you who think Steve Jobs is the greatest thing since cheese, and think his death was such a tragedy in the technology world, please continue to read this.
Yes, Steve Jobs was part of what brought us some lovely things such as the iPhone, iPad, iMac, etc etc etc..
But what frameworks were all of these things built on? And who created them?
The answer - in a name - is Dennis Ritchie.
Dennis Ritchie was found dead on the 12th October 2011, 7 days after Steve Jobs died.
Dennis Ritchie was the man behind C, C+, Unix, and therefore everything 'technology' related that we know of in this day and age.
Without Dennis Ritchie, Steve Jobs would have been a shower curtain ring salesman. Without Dennis Ritchie, Steve Jobs wouldn't even have a starting point for Apple. Without Dennis Ritchie, you can kiss goodbye to Wolfenstein, COD, BF, Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, Playstation, Nintendo, XBOX, iPhones, normal phones, pretty much everything technology related that you hold so dear.
And yet HOW MANY threads have I seen on this guys death? NONE. Not one single mention of him ANYWHERE. Because of course, an Apple founder is far more important.
Without Dennis Ritchie, Apple wouldn't exist, and Steve Jobs' death wouldn't have reached more than his local newspaper's obituaries.

Anything's better than what we have currently lol. The fact is America just doesn't have a large enough Pro community any more to pick players from, or get enough practice in against good teams. One thing I've always noticed about the Pro community in America is it's composed of individuals older in age than Euro teams meaning less time for ET since they actually have a life to attend to. Back in the parodia day's when mystic was still active I'm not sure anyone on that team was even 17 years old lol. A few hours of school then ET ET ET!!!

On the "^^" tangent, you can have that as a name, it's just a bit complicated. "^" takes whatever comes after it as a colour-code. So you have to do (e.g., for a pink ^^): "name ^v^^v^^v" to get around that.
The easiest way to connect "undercover", in my experience, is to open ET, load the mod you'll be playing on, change your name in the console once it's loaded, and then connect to the server.

Aim and gamesense.
You can have great aim, but if you run into the enemy spawn right when ten of them spawn, it's not going to help you. Three people shooting at you once can take you down quickly, but you can take three down in a row when they're coming through a door (and thus only one is shooting at you at a time), etc. Push on people when they're reloading, find cover when you are. Don't push on somebody by running at them in a straight line. Things like that make the biggest difference.
ETPro is probably the best way to increase your “skill”, meaning both pubbing and scrimmaging against others. You'll get your ass handed to you at the start for sure, but the what you learn applies (more or less) to all mods and servers.
There's a guide by velocity which has a lot of very helpful information (particularly: General Tips, Basic Skills, and the Scripting and Strategy sections). If you want a good starting place, that guide and "Aiming by RaZiel" (i. your AV might detect a trojan, it's not one. & ii. some of the tools are for XP and wont work with Vista/7, if you have those you'll need to Google for tools that will work) are both great starting points. Read those, start scrimming, and you'll get better (but be prepared to get absolutely destroyed when you start scrimming).

Cool story but judging from the replies all of you are butthurt. And no not all people that used the other vent were kicked out. People that were kicked out have become dead weight and were taking positions that they clearly don't deserve. We are going towards exciting new places and we cannot do that when more then half of the leaders in the clan are not interested nor have the balls to tell us. Also as stated before numerous times donating to the clan doesn't give you immunity. Daredevil always respected you guys, always treated you better then other ET nubs and you stabbed him in the back. I really couldn't care if you troll me but when you fuck with Dare you cross the line and you must die.
