Hi All been a long time since I've been online, My computer died, then I got very ill and have been fighting to get back online for some time. I had to purchase a new computer and it has sat for awhile while I get my strength back so I can at least sit long enough to set it all back up. As you have guessed Punk Buster is now giving me that I don't have a key, and my old computer is not accessible. I've tried get it off the only site available but no go as I think this windows version is not supported. Any advice as to how I can get around this issue? I get this message when I try to connect to servers.....

Regarding your issue, you could try running ET as administrator to see if that does anything.

Have you installed ET from the download here on this site?

 

It's hard to find on the new forum but I have it on my mediafire - http://www.mediafire.com/file/rkd8i3bf2xabue0/ETPunkBuster_Setup_And_KeyGen.zip

 

It should setup everything, the game, PB, etc and generate a new etkey for you, then, like posted above, run as administrator.

Please contact support for further assistance."  I tried the Download button below it just for "completeness" and it took me to a page to download a "PC Repair" program.

 

[I see what Miss Priss meant by an advert popup.  I just noticed two "pop-behinds" for an all-ages gaming and chat service.]

 

The FA Downloads section has the Full Installer at https://fearless-assassins.com/files/file/774-enemy-territory-full-version/

 

I suggest that you use that installer, which has the filename of "WolfET_2_60b_custom.exe ".  The video above should help with the process, though you have been through it before.

I found a way to fix mis-quotes in a post.  

I had hit the quote-button on a Miss Priss post, but on the post above the one I actually wanted to quote!

 

I re-opened this post, deleted the wrong quote and hit the quote-tab in the edit-bar.  I then pasted the "share this post" address of the correct quote-post into the blank quote and you can see the results above.  I confess to missing the old BBCode-mode.

I play without punkbuster, on servers FA is disabled, so I have not installed the service, and in the cfg also inserted in the shortcut cl_punkbuster "0"
